If anyone would have suggested a week ago that we should have drafted Cobb, Langford or Matt Jones (:lol) with our pick in round 3 to secure a RB, they would have been ridiculed. Now people are flipping their shit.
Has anyone suggested us taking Matt Jones at any point? Or Cobb in the 3rd?

I don't know if we are really reaching a full round or two. I just don't know enough about some of these guys to say that. But I do agree. There is something wrong when you're taking that high of a percentage of guys from a visit list 30 long. It can't just be a coincidence that those guys somehow are just always the best available. For that to be true you would have to be rating them higher then everyone else.
Out of the top 300 players we basically narrow it down to about 30. We're writing off at least 90% of the draftable players. insane.

No, I'm just pointing out the type of RBs that were taken between our 3rd and 4th picks. We passed on them (for good reason) yet people are acting like we made huge errors in evaluating the position.

I still would've taken Cobb over Wilson in the 4th, but yeah, by that point the pickings were slim.

I mean really what point are tryig to make?

It's been generally acknowledge that we have been drafting at a above average rate recently so we must be doing something right.

What do you want, for everybody to be pissed at the level you seem to be?

The outrage over not getting a RB is dumb. We had a window in rounds 1 and 2 to get one that can play. We used our first on a different need when the value at RB wasn't there and in the 2nd we got the biggest steal of the draft. By the time our 3rd rolled around, all acceptable options were gone...including Ajayi and his busted knee. So move on.
We will not move on. This is a message board where people, you know, like discuss things and stuff. Top two need going into the draft and we didn't draft a single thing to fulfill that need. It's worth talking about.

There is a difference between discussing and bitching about how bad the FO is and how the season is over now.

Everybody has acknowledged the RB position is a huge ? but you and others have went off the deep end.

And, that's your opinion. I don't feel anyone has gone "off the deep end". You just do because you seem happy with what we got. I am not.

You don't get to say what is worth bitching about and what is not. You don't have to agree with it, but that doesn't mean it's not worth bitching about.

So saying this is a 8-8 team and the team has gotten worse is not going of the deep end?

Not anymore than parts of this board normally react. And, most times (minus one year) they are right.

I agree with Jiggy. The tantrums thrown during day three were embarrassingly funny. And from grown men, no less. When people are stomping around and declaring without a doubt that we are a worse team than we were last year, I'd call that going off the deep end.

You'd think we'd just lost Emmitt Smith, Jim Brown, and Walter Payton all rolled up into one. I wanted a RB too. Bad. But I'll trust in Linehan and this Oline.

And you don't know how hard that was for me to admit I agree with Jiggy. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to take a hot shower. ~shudders~

So this is the guy people lost their minds about?:unsure
Ajayi, meanwhile, profiles as the sort of receiving back every NFL team needs in 2015. He unquestionably fell in the draft because of long-term concerns about his knee, but there’s something silly about knocking a running back because of what might happen down the line, given the attrition rates that even healthy backs go through at the professional level. Like many college backs, Ajayi needs to work on his pass protection, but there’s a chance he turns into, say, Shane Vereen.
