Gregory is a certified idiot, but he still is the best pass rusher in this class. I'd take him. We've wasted 2nd rounders on shitty one-dimensional TEs, why not?
I am extremely reluctant to take on guys who are so goddamn stupid that they fail multiple drug tests for weed. Especially when they know damn well they are going to be tested (i.e., the Combine). I like weed too but for god's sake I've quit for periods of time to pass tests for jobs that pay waaaaay less than the NFL. Not that damn difficult if you have any sort of self-control/sense of responsibility.

That said, yeah, if he continues to tumble down the board and really has top 10 type talent by all means take him. At what point would you trade up for him if he is falling but you don't think he will make it to 60? What would you be willing to give up for that move?

Do you buy his excuse that he did quit but that he didn't quit soon enough? I know a lot of people have a misconception that you can clean your system in 30 days. However a real habitual user can't do it that quickly at all. I wouldn't be surprised if he quit before the draft but just didn't realize how much time that would take.

I had a root canal done this morning and I have some hydrocodone.

Be aware.

We are spending a lot of time on the RBs, who does everyone want with a DL?

Gregory, Owamagbe, Grady Jarrett and Carl Davis are the top four, then a wide gulf on my wikey scale until Preston Smith.
I think Gregory and Owamagbe will be long gone but Owamagbe and Davis are my top choices.

You know we're doing that McKinney to DE thing.
If Ajayi, Yeldon, Gregory etc. are gone and the cupboard is bare at our pick, I could deal with this.

As far as the DE thing, I think they mean they would flex him to the LOS in passing situations. They did that often with Kyle Wilber.

Not really buying it. I mean, he probably did quit but my guess is that it was less than 30 days from the time of the test. Even as a habitual user you can really speed up the cleansing process if you want to and 30 days should be plenty. He absolutely should have been taking every possible precaution leading up the combine and he obviously did not. It is just a total dumb ass move to fail a test there when you have already failed more than one test in college.

That still does not cut it for me, these guys have a team of people working for them leading up to the draft its not hard to get that info.

And we are talking about a guy with less than 5 percent body fat he should be clear in less than 30 days.

To close to a Josh Gordon type for me.

Don't really care a whole lot. With a late second round pick, I will be happy to take the best pass rusher in this class even if he is dumb as a rock.

They had Shaw on last night, now Charlie Strong.

Drastic difference in terms of articulation. Very noticeable.

I expect you to throw some quality scotch on top of 'em, too.

Don't wuss out. I demand entertainment.

La'el Collins and his agents issued a statement that said that if he was not drafted tonight, he was going to sit out next year and re-enter the 2016 draft.

Good luck with that, dummy.

I get that he doesn't want to lose the money, but sitting out a year from football, does he think that he's just going to be a first rounder next year?

A lot can happen in a year, namely him getting fatter and older.

It is a sad situation that happened to him and all that, but he needs to man up and leave his options open.

Giving NFL teams an ultimatum...yeah, that ain't gonna be a good look.
