Cris Carter suggests an Adrian Peterson trade is coming

The Vikings continue to insist that Adrian Peterson will not be traded. Not everyone believes them.
Cris Carter, the Hall of Fame former Vikings receiver who now works as an ESPN commentator, suggested today on Mike & Mike that he has been given inside information about a Peterson trade.
“I’m under gag order on the Adrian Peterson situation, but I believe something’s gonna happen,” Carter said. “But I can’t talk about it.”
It’s a bit odd that Carter would choose to talk about something that he “can’t talk about” because he’s “under gag order,” but that’s what Carter said, and Carter presumably still has some relationships with people in Minnesota. Which suggests that it’s possible Carter knows that privately, the Vikings are more open to trading Peterson than they’re indicating publicly.
Still, this sounds like a long shot. The Vikings reportedly want a huge bounty if they’re going to part with Peterson, and there have been no reports of another team stepping to the plate with that kind of deal. Carter is in a minority in thinking anything is going to happen other than Peterson staying in Minnesota.
99% sure
Jesus people write players off quickly. Dee Ford has only been in the league a year.
Everybody is fighting for followers and clicks so they say the most outrages shit.Jesus people write players off quickly. Dee Ford has only been in the league a year.
The correct answer would be whichever RB the cowboys draft (if they do draft one) running behind that line...
You don't have to tell us.Everybody is fighting for followers and clicks so they say the most outrages shit.
Meh, not a fan.the most silent person in the draft leading up to it has been Arik Armstead. I wonder if there is any possibility he drops to the Cowboys selection
There is some truth to that though. You have to wonder how many good RB's go to shitty teams and are looked as busts as a result. It's just the opposite of when you see one of these backup RBs get a chance with a great rushing team, look awesome and then sign with another team. They then quickly fade into nothingness. The correct answer would be whichever RB the cowboys draft (if they do draft one) running behind that line...
Not sure why. He's a physical freak for his size and has actually been productive. Watching him run RB and WR's down from behind have been amazing.Meh, not a fan.

He didn't do much of anything in college. Doesn't fit our defense scheme very well at all. Plus we saw what happened with the last Oregon "freak athlete" defensive player. Not sure why. He's a physical freak for his size and has actually been productive. Watching him run RB and WR's down from behind have been amazing.
Byron Jones is pretty much the only one, but Shaq Thompson is close for me.Who are your remote throwers? For me, I think any safety (Collins or Randall) or Jones.
It is the greatest and most terrifying day of the year.
