INDIANAPOLIS — Dez Bryant expressed his grievances on Twitter for the second time this week hours after Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com said in a KRLD-FM interview there are rumors of a troubling video tape involving the receiver that are affecting contracting negotiations with the Cowboys.



“Just quit with the b.s.,” Bryant, an impending free agent, wrote. “It’s clear as day what’s going on… I might need to do a exclusive interview about my life these past 5 years since the world is destined to know… I use to let people take advantage of my life now that I’m no longer allowing that to happen it seems to be a problem… I’m not ashamed of none of my past incidents because that’s what made me who I am today.”

Two high-ranking Cowboys officials said they have no knowledge of such a video. On Tuesday, Bryant used the same social media website to deliver a cryptic message, wishing the Cowboys had shown a greater commitment to him. That dispatch came after the team’s executive vice president Stephen Jones said Dallas was “leaning” towards applying the one-year franchise tag to Bryant, a move that is expected to cost the Cowboys close to $13 million.

“We feel strong about him,” Jones explained. “We worked hard to do a long-term deal with him. And we’ll continue to work hard. If we don’t get one done, it just shows how much we care about him [because] we don’t want to expose him [to the open market].”

Also I kind of hope there is a video that knocks down his price tag but that doesn't prevent him from playing football. It would basically be perfect. Maybe something from like 5 years ago of him beating his mom up or something.

Really curious to see what this is all about. Could be BS but odds are there is something to it. If there is serious trouble at least it came out before the Cowboys inked him to a big contract. It will hurt the offense in a big way if Dez isn't part of it, but they wouldn't be in the worst possible spot because if he does get in big trouble the organization can use the money they would have used to franchise him or sign him to a big deal on other players.

We'll see. Either way it is really tough to trust this guy with a long term deal. He definitely seems more mature than he was when he came into the league, but I think there is plenty of concern about how he'll be once he gets paid.

All kinds of rumors going around and it wouldn't surprise me if this was pretty bad, given how volatile Dez is.

On the other hand, if Dez's camp knew this video was out there, why wouldn't they just sign whatever reasonable contract the Cowboys offered? You'd think they would want to avoid free agency if he's facing major discipline.

The TMZ's of the world may be scumbag news outlets, but they've gotten more and more credible over the years - look no further than the Ray Rice thing.

If they are reporting it this strongly, then I'm guessing this Perez Hilton site has something on him.

TMZ is totally different then Terez Owens... TMZ is a pretty big company. Terez Owens is a tabloid blogger. I don't think you can compare the two at all.

I don't put any additional weight in this being true then a few days ago when Florio was saying something. If there is a video I doubt it is this horribly damaging thing that these "sources" are claiming. After all if it was that horrible we would have seen a criminal case pop up by now. Even if it's a video of Dez doing blow off a hooker I doubt the league would have enough evidence to suspend him off it.
