Watching the combine on NFL Network. The comparisons they come up with based on height, weight, and speed etc. are just plain retarded. Odell Beckham they compared with Dorsett. Just not similar at all.

Dorsett is is still my main pet cat and even when stumbling through his run, he puts up 4.3's. :lol
Dorsett and Lockett are a couple speed guys I really like. Lockett ran a really solid 4.4 forty.

Did Kevin White run 4.35? That's huge at his size.
Yeah he is making a serious push to be the top WR. He ran fast as hell. Pretty impressive when put side by side with Cooper who is smaller.

Second run was a 4.36 so it was no fluke.

I'm not as high on DGB, I watched him a few times and he didn't look fast on the field to me.

Dorsett is is still my main pet cat and even when stumbling through his run, he puts up 4.3's. :lol

I also like the idea of Diggs late.
Diggs would be a great mid round pick, he'd give immediate value as a returner and could develop into a very good number 3 or even 2.

Just think, Tyron Smith can beat Winston in the 40.

I hate to say it but watching the way he catches the ball, his body and athletic ability. He kind of reminds me of Dez Bryant. His 40 today was really impressive but what I really like is the way White plays the ball when it is in the air.

No RBs are in the 4.4s yet and Cobb pulled a quad.

Sucks to hear Cobb pulled his quad muscle. At least he won't boost his draft stock

I thought Gordon would be a tick faster but 40 ' s aren't all that important to RBs. Some of these guys are running real slow though. 4.9s and 5.0 are ugly.

Shane Ray won't run 40-yard dash at Scouting Combine

INDIANAPOLIS -- One of the most explosive pass rushers in the NFL draft will have to do his exploding another time.

Missouri defensive end Shane Ray said a foot injury will prevent him from competing in the 40-yard dash or any other drill when the NFL Scouting Combine's defensive ends are scheduled to work out.

"Unfortunately (Sunday) I won't be able to perform because of an injury I had in my bowl game with my foot," Ray said. "So everything that is listed for tomorrow as far as the 40, and all the athletic drills, I'll be doing on my pro day."

A date for Missouri's pro day event hasn't yet been announced.

Ray, a potential top-10 draft pick who earned SEC Defensive Player of the Year honors with 14 sacks last season, measured just under 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds. He said he has drawn interest from NFL teams who use both 3-4 and 4-3 defenses, but more of them from the 3-4 teams, which would use him as a pass-rushing linebacker.

Based on draft projections, interest in Ray's times at Missouri's pro day will be high. All four NFL Media analysts who have posted mock drafts see Ray being chosen in the first round, and no lower than the No. 8 overall pick by the Atlanta Falcons. Analyst Lance Zierlein projects Ray the highest at No. 3 overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Dr. James Andrews says Todd Gurley’s knee is ahead of schedule

Posted by Michael David Smith on February 21, 2015, 3:57 PM EST

Georgia running back Todd Gurley is doing well in recovery from a torn ACL, according to the doctor who performed his reconstructive knee surgery.

Dr. James Andrews said reports that Gurley declined to have his knee checked at the Combine were incorrect, and that team doctors have been given all the information they need about Gurley’s recovery.

“I heard some fuss that Gurley wouldn’t let teams examine him and that’s just totally misleading,” Andrews told ESPN. “The team physicians I have spoken with who are there — and I have spoken to a bunch of them — were all happy about what they saw. I mean, they’re smart enough to know you can’t have 32 teams pulling and tugging on a knee just 3½ months removed from surgery. But the doctors I spoke with said he looked great and I’d say he’s probably six weeks ahead with his recovery.”

Andrews said he gave Gurley a checkup just before he went to Indianapolis, and Gurley is doing well.

“Gurley’s quad muscle is way ahead of what you would expect even at this stage and that’s vital to a good recovery, as you know,” Andrews said. “The Georgia trainer, Ron Courson, did a great job the first six weeks post-surgery and then Todd came here [at the Andrews Institute in Florida] and I was very happy before he left for Indianapolis. He’s been running on a treadmill, running underwater, he’s never had any swelling.”

Before suffering a torn ACL, Gurley was viewed as a likely first-round draft pick. Andrews sounds confident that Gurley is still going to be that kind of NFL player.

Whoa.
He's a freak, but how do you feel comfortable playing him at DE? Opposing OC's will run at him all day.
