OU is interviewing Dennis Simmons for a position. He coached for 10 years under Leach at Tech and now at WSU. It looks like OU is trying to put together a real Air Raid staff. Interesting to say the least.

UCF got a commitment from a 3* CB from the state champions who has an offer sheet of a 5* kid.

So how's Tech doing?

sliding toward Kliff's inevitable firing and hopefully bringing back McNeil from ECU. Should have promoted McNeil instead of hiring Tuberville years ago.

That won't be for another few years. They are still infatuated by his looks and chest bumps with the players.

Eh, I wouldn't. I'm always Leary of coaches who can't get their specialty unit to ever be good and McNeil's defenses at ECU always suck. Now with Carden and Hardy graduating, his offense will regress too.

We've got some of those kids commited too. I just have higher expectations. I expected to close better but 4-8 is a little hard to sell right now. What really stings is being in on so many good kids and then losing them.
Stidham - screw him

Carlos Strickland decomitted and switch to Cal. Cal?

Darrion Daniels - tech legacy choses oky state at the last minute yesterday

Tyron Johnson - was tech all the way (still hosting the staff at his house multiple times as of yesterday) and can't pull him away from his home state

Chris Warren - in it all the way but he hasn't commited anywhere yet. I expect to lose him. Down to Tech and UT

Joseph Wicker - down to UCLA, asu and Tech. Kid is a must have that probably will stay hom in CA.

Arthur McGinnis - another must have that we are strongly in on. I got a feeling we lose him too.

Not only that but there are several really good3 star that we couldn't close for whatever reason.

If that happens there would be some noise but he'd get another few years, imo. Kliff is Tech's favorite son.

Ya, I'm excited to try it. The school has been looking for something to give the stadium a little added flair for TV games as well as something cool to look at on TV. I originally hoped for a big pool with some coeds in bikinis or something.

I do have some questions about how good it will be, mostly cause the tiki bar area will be back underneath the seating and that can be a loud area since these are aluminum seating. If that noise can be somewhat controlled so it's a nice environment to talk, it could be great.

The big rumor on the Arkansas boards is the North Little Rock head coach is getting fired because he was offering to deliver KJ Hill to any program that would give him a job and Bielema reported him. He also may have been paying rent for several people so that players could move in district with the implication being that he was taking money from college boosters in exchange for influencing where his players commit. The school superintendent is refusing to comment on his employment status so there is some kind of investigation taking place. If true it would explain the odd number of highly ranked NLR kids who choose to go out of state vs. other similar schools in Arkansas. Probably BS, but I gotta respect Bielema for having the integrity to say no thanks if true.
