And you are wrong.That wasnt the point. Being on a job for a long time doesn't define a persons abilities good or bad. LeBeau is an example of a person that stayed on a job for years without being promoted but he was apparently well regarded. Angry guy used Wilson longivity as a position caoch for a long time as a bad connotation. I used LeBeu as not necessarly so.
LeBeau was a ST coach and LB coach for eleven years and he got a coordinator gig.
Wilson has been a position coach since 2000. That is a span of fourteen years at the same position with zero progression beyond "QB coach".
You would have to try very hard to find another position coach in the NFL who has been that sedentary.
And beyond the small circle with Jones, Davis, Norv Turner's brother, who holds Wade Wilson in high regard?
There is a reason why he is never a threat to move. He's like a fixture because he is not in demand.
Meanwhile you have little 30 year old snotnose kids spending a couple of years as a QB coach and then getting an OC gig.
