I wasnt defending him. I was wondering why some are bashing him for no apparent reason. No one can definitively stated why the think he is a bad position coach.

He's a quality vet QB that some numbnut like Wilson is not going to sudden coach up.

He is what he is for the most part. A vet at this stage in his career is not going to be reinventing themselves. It is just about tweaking here and there.

Linehan enters and gives him a real guy to go to and that is more significant.

I didn't say QB was a problem right now, nor am I consumed with angst.

If we suddenly found ourselves with a QB who needed to be developed, Wilson is not the guy to get the job done.

His biggest contribution to the Cowboys has been being Jones' dick pill supplier.

I am not aware he has had any backups to develop except maybe a couple. Kitna was already developed as was Orton and Weeden. McGee and now Vaughn have come along but they are not candidates to unseat Romo.

It's been reported pretty widely that before Linehan got here no one was getting onto Romo about his mistakes in practice. That tells me Wilson wasn't doing his job.
