What an awesome, awesome win.

We had every reason in the world to lose that game. Stupid penalties, missed FG, refusal to commit to the run, Barry Church's one man mission to get Taint into the Hall of Fame, and Lord Jesus, the mother of all gaffes when Lawrence fumbled.

But we did not quit. Romo led a 4th quarter comeback drive to take the lead, and the defense rose up, with Lawrence getting the strip/sack/recovery trifecta.

Fan-freaking-tastic.
thought we were screwed after Bailey missed the gimme.

If that punt didn't shank, do we win this game?
Who knows? Who cares?

All of the salt over this win of ours is magnificent, and I'd just like to send out a very special Kiss-My-Ass to all the Cowboy haters out there.

We're moving onto the 2nd round and that's all I care about.

Actually, it isn't.
I think we agree on what's PI, but our definitions of 'faceguarding' is different. To clarify, a DB is given more leeway with physical contact if he was going for the ball versus not looking at the ball at all.

Had Hitchens been turned 180 degrees with back contacting Pettigrew, it wouldn't have been close to a PI. The fact that Hitchens hadn't turned his head at all, the flag came out because of the 'faceguard' position.

I don't mean to say that if Hitchens were 10 yards trailing his WR and faceguarding that there would be a penalty.

But, it's awfully easy to come in after the fact and troll.

Or sit in the gameday thread and say stupid shit like Lotus did.
I post during the game and no one calls me out so I guess it's easy for me. I think you should probably just be happy that you were horribly wrong. Not sure it's a reason to get up in arms.

Remember when they took Tom Brady's SB trophy away for the tuck rule? How about the Ravens not getting any credit for their victory, since there was a clear non-call that affected the end of the game?

You can be an inch from a guy flailing in the air without ever looking for the ball and it isn't PI.

Posting after the game is over about posts in game is what is stupid. And, yeah, I think it's a reason to get up in arms.

Either post when emotions are high or STFU once it has settled down.

I've seen the Bart Starr QB sneak game considered Ice Bowl II since the Cowboys lost in Green Bay the year before with Meredith throwing a game-losing INT in the end zone.

Yep. Got the potential game-changing Int early in 3rd, run for 8 yards in 2 plays then get sacked and Mr Money misses a 41 harder to keep us down 10. Also down 20-14 we get a 1st and 10 at Detroit's 20 and end up with only 3 points. D. Lawrence's fumble-recovery-fumble looked to be icing on the sh!tcake, but somehow he redeemed himself.

So many mistakes, penalties, abandoning run, missed opportunities...but somehow come out with the win. Great to see this team keep fighting and not cave like they have so many times in the past.

Making Suh cry was the cherry on top. Only thing I regret is that Jim Swartz isn't still their HC. It's great to come back from 14 down, especially with the recent debacles we've had against them the last few years.

Agreed, except if the WR is trying to come back and make the catch on an underthrown ball or back shoulder throw.
