I don't like comparing stats across eras, they were different times then. If/when we lose one it's going to depend on how we lose, if it's an interception on the last drive it will just make it worse, even if it's in the NFCC
Yeah, good point. Let me amend my statement. If Romo looks good and takes us to the NFCC he shouldn't be called a choker anymore.

I don't know, some call White a choker and he had multiple playoff wins
I'd say they are pretty similar overall. Danny did have the advantage of playing on teams that still had some quality players but most were entering the downside of their careers. He didn't choke away regular season games as much as Tony has though, his shortcomings mostly showed up in the playoffs. I would say that Danny was in a better position for success, at least during his first three or four years as a starter. Romo has always been subjected to change and turmoil throughout his career.

77 net yards for Arizona.

Fewest net yards of any team in NFL history in the playoffs.

And no, it was not because the Panthers D was that good.

Just shows how shorthanded the Cardinals were. I cannot think of any team that gets to the playoffs like they did with a 3rd string QB and a 3rd string RB.

they were on a 3rd string quarterback just like Ohio State, meaning the points in the college football thread are now moot :art

Geez. They are trying to put lipstick on this pig by saying the Carolina D put up this number.

I think Ryan Lindley might have been one of the worst QBs to ever start a playoff game.

It is like if we somehow beat Atlanta and Babe Laufenberg got a playoff start.

Now they are talking about the impact of a punter in a playoff game.

Normally, I would be hardcore rooting for the Ravens but in this game...I am not.

But there is this teeny tiny itsy bitsy microscopic homer voice in my head hoping for the Steelers so we can beat them in the Super Bowl.

My God.

I think I need to see a therapist or something.
