Scott Wright has us taking Calhoun at 20. Not my first choice of DL and based on his scenario, I'd rather have Goldman or Dupree. But at least it's looking in the right direction.

Every single year it happens. It's the sign of an unimaginative hack who really doesn't know enough about our team and needs, saying, "hey, you can never have enough corners, that's a cliche that people still fall for right? I'll slot one in here."

I think Crawford is probably our best DL.

He has been one of our best defensive players this year, is young and cheap. Not sure why he is so expendable.

Calhoun had a lousy year and is no lock to come out.

Without even looking to confirm, I'm willing to be that most mock drafts have us taking a CB in the 1st round in at least 8 of the last 10 drafts.

These guys ALWAYS have us taking a 1st round CB.

Draft "gurus" won't really understand pass defense that well and they ALWAYS post players based on need before talent. Fixing a broken pass defense with a CB is like putting a band-aid on a deep stab wound. Defense starts up front, period.

But the 1st round is purely about talent transcending position. Draft gurus never seem get how a great WR can help the defense as much as a defensive player.

We need talent, hopefully defensive, but talent first.
