Did you forget that they have Trent Richardson?! Huh?! Did you?!
The Dallas defense is pretty decent on defending the run but the lack of a pass rush and defective secondary nullifies that.

change yours to "where it could prevent the team from making the playoffs". I still think they get 10 and based on tiebreakers could make or miss the playoffs based on that. Just dont think they will lose to Washington. I know all the past junk but this team is different from the past. They are just hampered by past decisions to not build a defense.
The junk pass rush of the Skins is still something to be concerned about. Dallas has no answer for it.

You think what happened to our defense was a result of being in prevent? :lol

What happened there is that the defense just remembered it was a piece of shit unit like it's been all year.
Up until that point the defense stymied the Bears. The D is not good, but until they fell asleep I was happy. Run D was excellent and our tackling was impressive. Not a good way to end it, but a win is a win.

I went to bed when it was 35 to 7. What the hell?

Prevent D and Escobar whiffed on an onside kick. It sucked, but I am still happy with the first 3 quarters. The OL was dominant again...now get rest and come up with a gameplan for Philly.

One thing that is baffling to me is our DL stunts. I have no idea what the end game is. They seem to try and cave in one side, while applying no pressure from the other side. It makes no sense.

I don't even know why teams bother trying to run against us. We can't stop the pass even when we know that's all that's coming at us. We have no answers for the Eagles and apparently none against the Bears once they went to a total air game. Guess we should just be glad Marshall went out and the Bears didn't go total passing game til late in the 3rd.

Early in the 4th it was 38-13 and Moore dropped an Int. Bears then completed a 4th and 7 and ended up making it 38-21. Onsides kick recovery and 1 minute later it's 38-28. We come up with the int or 4th down stop and it's still 38-13. Blowout turned to a game on those two plays.
Even more unbelievable is the Bears were 10 yards away from making it 41-35, but Scandrick finally held onto an int to end it.

If Week 17 is win and you're in we're going to win, the Skins will have nothing to play for as opposed to the previous 3 years where our opponent won the division with a win.

In my mind all we have to do is win one of these next two, then we beat the Skins and 11 will get us in one way or the other.
Not so sure. Remember just last year? We had to beat the 3-13 Redskins just to make the finale a do-or-die game and it took an end of the game comeback drive for us to pull that game out in DC. I think we should beat them but I thought we should've had no problem with them earlier this year either and we still crapped the bed.

Yeah thats what I saw, he is the only 1 tech that can defeat single blocking and hold up a double team.

I was dissapointed in everybody else but Crawford, this pass rush is straight booty.
The DL needs the complete OL treatment.

Need at least 1 high level end and at least 1 high level tackle. And probably a couple more high end rotation guys, not the Selvies of the world.

Just picture so many other of the fourth quarters our defense has pitched in the last 2-3 years and you'll get the idea. No lead is safe!

If we were the team that made a late rally to pull closer it would be dismissed as garbage time...now, not so much.

I'm hoping for some DL help early in the draft. But unfortunately we need everything on defense except MLB. We should be set at CB with the resources we used there but that obviously isn't the case. Between FA and early in the draft we need to shore up the front 4. But with so many needs on defense, by the time we fill all of them I'm afraid the OL will be nearing retirement.

We are just victims of our own past faliures and its the same with the December collapse. Even though this team is completely different than the past teams its going to be the same for awhile. Until we beat Washington with the playoffs on the line we are going to hear it from all the mediots and twitterers.

I wouldn't say we really "need" any LBs. If McClain and Lee are here, if we can bring back Durant, who shouldn't be expensive, and Hitchens is a three-position backup, that's not really a need.

I wouldn't invest a ton at CB either. Like it or not Claiborne will be back. You look for a value selection after the first round at some point and sign a guy to a mid-tier deal in FA maybe, that's it.

DL is the position that should get the resources, and safety shouldn't be messed with unless it's a true center fielder.

Ravi I see you have been converted about Philly. You previously thought they were smoke and mirrors and would be exposed. Welcome to the dark side. Philly is a really good team and can play With anyone as long as Sanchez is afforded protection.
Yeah, me and you are the co-founders of this dark side. I have thought Philly was good all along... I just have never been scared of their defense. Their offense on the other hand...

This is exactly how I look at it.

I'd be fine adding adding a LB if he's the BPA and we think he's an impact player but generally we should be fine there with McClain, Lee, Durant, Hitchens, Wilber and another body. I'd only draft a safety if they are by far the BPA and a true centerfielder, and CB is a spot I'd look to add bodies, but I would not spend premium resources there even if we let Carr go.

DL needs all sorts of attention and luckily it looks like we will have some good options there with our 1st rounder, where ever it ends up.
