No pass rush.

This is a loss.
Romo sucks. He's let 3 passes sail on him and severely underthrew Hanna.
Fuck this. I'm going to bed.
This team is a fraud.

You don't lose to an awful Redskins team then lose to an awful Giants team if you're a serious playoff contender.

What a joke.
Cant get off the field on 3rd down and Beckham is going to have an all-pro night .

Looks like 6-1 to 7-5 by next week.
We're done. Yet again, we shit the bed. And we'll lose again on Thursday.
2013 defense is back.
This game is a classic example of why you should never, ever, feel good about this fucking football team.
Eh. I am getting pissed, about ready to erupt but I am going to just laugh it off.

Not even worth getting mad about anymore.

Fucking. Gutlless. Shitheads.
I hope they score again.

Break these fucking losers.
The Cowboys look defeated. This one's over, I'm afraid.
This game is fucking over, folks. We have zero clue.
This team is FUCKING STUPID!!
No sense in watching the rest of this clusterfuck.
:lol

Fun first half thread to read.

I'm passing out 'F U's' like Christmas gifts on the Oprah show.

FU and FU and FU...

We gonna comeback...I didin't say win, but we still in this.
Phil with the voice of reason. :towel

This play is great in so many ways up front. First you will see that both OT's just totally stalemate their DEs. The other part of this that is great is the interior. Look at the 2 DTs. They are both still back at the line of scrimmage because the interior of our O-line is so strong that they don't give up an inch. Especially Leary who is just killing his guy all by himself.

I can watch that play over and over again. So damn impressive.

Just happy this morning. Just another example of a game that would have lost in previous years. I will worry about tomorrow later. Right now Im a towel waving fool.
Absolutely we would have lost this game in years past. Probably the biggest difference between this and the last few. We are winning games that we used to lose.

And sweet blue eyed baby Jesus Harold Christ on a crutch in a manger I hope it continues.
Funny thing is I am more confident trailing in the 4th than having a 10-pt lead.

iwonder if our statistics of winning percentage support that.

Heath broke his thumb and will have to have surgery on it. No timetable set for return. :towel

Watch Bryant's route. I know there are on-the-fly reads/route changes being made, but it essentially looks like elementary school kids.

I bring this up because I wonder if this is indicative of why Bryant disappears. Instead of running a direct one-cut route, with a couple options of cut in/out/deep/hook, this route can only work when romo gets 6 sec of pass protection.

What was the initial intention of this route - just find a spot between the cb and safety and just go sandlot if that doesn't work?

Any time the initial route doesn't work and the QB is still on his feet it turns to sandlot. The receivers are, at that point, just trying to get open any way they can.

I understand that. My question is: what was the designed route before it became sandlot? At what point did it become sandlot?

Was that round circling to the endzone corner intentional because a post corner should be a sharp cut. Or was the initial route to just run diagonally to the goalpost and, if not open (as it wasn't with the safety squatting there) then Dez has his assigned zone to just run to and go sandlot?

Yeah, it looked like a post route, and then when it wasn't open he turned sandlot since Tony was still moving.

He's having one hell of a year, and it could end up being his best ever when it's all said and done.

He has 22 TD's to only 6 picks this year, and 3 of those came in that 49ers game.

The best part? He's only averaging under 30 attempts per game which is exactly where he needs to be.

Part of it may be the coverage. You'll see that Bryant was basically double covered on the play. The corner is playing his outside shoulder while the safety is sitting there on the inside. It's basically bracket coverage. The flag route which he originally ran would have been doomed from the start which is why you basically see him free lance in the back of the endzone instead.

Yeah, flag not post. I had a brain fart. But, flag route is what I meant.

Yeah it's not going to be a monster 5,000 yard season for Romo but I love the way he is playing right now.

Yep and you can see on that play no matter what Dez did the corner was going to hold his responsibility to the outside. It's one of those things that the route was just not going to work against that coverage.

He was so cool in the pocket last night on that final drive.

I know he had all day to throw, but just the way he was confident back there and totally composed was great. I hope we get into the playoffs because I'd love to see him get a playoff win or two.

He deserves it.
