Don't worry, Big 12. Oliver Luck is on the committee, he has your back. Meanwhile the SEC has the committee chair and the Big 10 has 2 seats at the table. :lol
I think when it's all said and done you will probably have 1 team from each of the major conferences. SEC, Big Ten, ACC, and Pac-12. I think that is what the committee ultimately wants because you grab the fan bases from each major conference basically rooting for their representative.

If Bama loses to Auburn and Miss State loses to Ole Miss, the college football playoffs can be 4 2-loss SEC teams.

What's so unimpressive about wins @ LSU, Texas A&M and Auburn? FSU probably would have went 1-2 in that stretch.
Deuce, I love me some SEC but even I have to laugh at you for trying to pump up Miss St. by pointing out those 3 games as proof that Miss St. deserves to be in the top 4.

First of all it's been established that neither Texas A&M or LSU are that good. Hell, neither of them are even ranked. Everyone except for delusional SEC fans agree and has accepted that A&M and LSU were vastly overrated.

Second, even the Auburn win isn't that impressive. They're already saddled with 3 losses and will likely finish with 4 losses. So in December Miss States "quality" wins will consist of victories over a bunch of 4 and 5 loss teams.

Only in the SEC does that get you a shot at the title. Any other non-SEC team with a resume like Miss St.'s would get laughed out of the discussion.

But I digress....

If we're using Deuce's SEC grading system then Ohio State has a legit argument to get in.

Those Buckeye wins over Maryland and Illinois were quality wins, right?

It doesn't matter that they have 4 & 5 losses respectively.

I think Texas is going to beat TCU next week and will end their run. Although, I think their run ended by playing Kansas so close.

I have no problem saying that Maryland is an average team that gets little respect. Certainly not a "shit team" like Arkansas was called.

I'm usually on the side of the SEC since they're generally the best but Miss. St doesn't really impress me, I think Ohio St. could beat them on a neutral field. Of course I think Miss St. might beat FSU on a neutral field too but I guess you can't exclude an undefeated FSU team no matter how unimpressive they are.

And I'd appreciate it if you fuckers did not besmirch the good name of Maryland football.

I think it's very possible.

Strong has this team believing in itself and they've notched some quality wins the last few weeks.

They'll be ready to play for this one and I expect Texas to slow that offense down.

It would suck for TCU to lose, but I'd love for Texas to take a win like this into the offseason. This could be for Strong what the 96 win over Nebraska was for Mack Brown.

Wow. She won't have a job much longer. She is/was a reporter for ESPNU.

No she isn't. Someone from ESPN tweeted earlier she's with the Campus Connection program. It's basically an internship that ESPN sponsors for students on campus who want to get into TV. She isn't an employee.

Ahh ok. The reports I read said she was. Sensationalism in the media... who woulda thunk it.

It's still a very stupid thing to say. If she's genuinely interested in working in the media, then she needs to be smart enough to avoid saying things like that because statements like that often get employees fired.

Exactly. Kind of hard to expect a company like ESPN or Fox Sports to hire you when you're throwing out stupid statements like that.

Even dumber when she got defensive. She caught crap for it and started tweeting out "I'm entitled to my opinion" responses.

Deion's kid doesn't run a 4.2 like he did, but he's nice to watch return kicks.
