Dez already has more multi-TD games than Irvin had in his entire career. He's 2nd to Bob Hayes in team history in games with multiple receiving TDs (Dez has 10, Hayes had 15).

He's already started for them (and won games) when Palmer was out earlier this year.
Right. He can throw a good deep ball and has the guys to get it down the field. The Rams were coming after him and he hung right in there and made some big throws.

Arizona will be ok with Stanton but if Romo is healthy I'm 100% confident that we can beat them in the playoffs, road or home.

I liked our chances against them with Palmer and was hoping to see them in January.

I really hope we get a shot at them.

Hitchens has been so damn too good...really coming on now. The 4th down stop on Gerhart was great and the most impressive thing about him is that he does not miss tackles.

BTW...that defenseless receiver flag was bullshit and so was the PI on Street.

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

Hitchens has been outstanding. That 4th down stuff was impressive.

On another note it will be interesting to see how the Cards fair over the next 5-6 games with Palmer gone.
Stauton did fine in the beginning but there was also no pressure on him. Now the Cards are being touted as SB contenders and have the best record in the NFL. Lot of pressure there.

Russell Wilson's "face yourself" commercial has raised my level of dislike to alarming levels. You are just shaving bro, take it down a notch.

Romo had such great touch on this pass. It was beautiful.

It was the best deep ball I have seen out of Romo all season. Which is funny considering his back injury.

Agreed on Hitchens and the penalties being bullshit. Just a week or two ago I thought in an ideal world Hitchens is a guy you want in a super-sub role, a guy you could start but ideally you'd like to upgrade, but the more he plays the more I think this guy could be a long-term starter.

He doesn't really have any elite physical attributes but he's just solid in all aspects, and he's very physical, a trait we've lacked for years. The fact that he has been cross-trained at several of the LB spots is a huge plus as well.

If we keep the coaching staff intact I think the defense could be very good next year if we keep adding to the talent base. Young guys who were huge question marks coming in to the season like Wilcox, Crawford and Hitchens have proven themselves to at least be guys who you can count on to do their job within the scheme, not to mention older guys like Mincey. The secondary in particular has impressed me with their physicality and ability to play the ball in the air, something our secondary hasn't been able to do consistently since God knows when.

If we just continue to add talent on that side of the ball, keep the staff intact for the most part and let the young guys continue to grow within the scheme, we could definitely have something.

Hitchens has impressed me. I believe it was him that ran down the Jag receiver that was running free after a missed tackle by Carter.

Apparently, Beasley told a Cowboy fan on Twitter to eat a dick when the fan called him out on fumbling. :lol

I'm still not in love with Wilcox. He needs to learn sometimes it's better to wrap up and tackle instead of missing a tackle because youwere trying to lay a guy out

Yeah...that was him...after Church made that flailing tackle attempt.

Yea I'm not in love with him either but he's at least been a competent starting safety who has brought some physicality and hasn't given up bombs over the top every other quarter, which is alot more than I can say for most of our safeties over the last 10 years.

I would be much better with Wilcox if he was paired with a true FS.
