To me, he looks like a novelty we are wasting time with.

Yeah, to his credit, he runs good routes. Doesn't mean shit if you can't do anything after catching the ball.

His longest career reception is less than 30 yards.

Everything about his play was good except the fumble. He has some use as long as he doesn't cough it up.

Not sure that justifies a roster spot. We could do a lot better and honestly not pretend he is something other than what he is.
