We were 32nd in pass attempts under Garrett. Try again.
No, my point stands.

Questionable playcalling is more common than is implied. That's all. No reason to read into it further.

Even the best, highest regarded teams have serious week to week issues with situational playcalling.

It's gonna happen with Linehan too.

It's one thing to be criticized for abandoning the run, it's another thing to do it more often than anyone else in the NFL.

Dude. Garrett saved us from the running game. He protected us, sheltered us and provided us warmth from the cruel winter ground game blizzard.

I admire your innocence, Clay. In fact, I'm jealous because I can barely remember when I was young and naive.

This is just sick...

Ok now, my fiancee keeps pointing out my lack of observational skills, so I need to ask... what is it in this picture that is supposed to be the focal point? (I know it's something to do with Ware)

Did he have his hand on the ground? It looks like he's off to a quick start (compared to everyone else who looks to be standing still)... Is it something that we haven't seen before?

I feel like I'm missing something.

Ware faked the spin move to the inside, but kept moving outside. I think phil or Iamtdg posted a vine with a better angle on it a couple pages back.

Yeah, that move is just ridiculous. He makes one of the better tackles in the league look just foolish.

not to mention he brought down, actually sacked, a qb. a very elusive qb, too

I don't think it's a fake spin move. He leaves Staley looking the fool, but just based on Ware's body language, it looks like it was an attempt at a real spin move that didn't work out, but Staley made solid contact which kinda knocked Ware back a bit but he quickly gathers himself while Staley continues on thinking Ware is going around him, leaving Ware with a free path at a hard to bring down QB.

Dwight Freeney was the master of the spin and fake spin, and I don't think Ware's was a fake because he doesn't even go half way into the spin as is usually the case with any fake spin by a pass rusher.

I could be wrong, but just his body language and the way he suddenly just stops and gets knocked back for a just second tells me it was a spin move that was stifled as opposed to a fake spin.

Staley didn't make solid contact. And it was clearly a fake spin move. I don't know why, but you've always looked for some reason to tear down anything Ware has done. Why keep going? He doesn't even play here any more.

Nope, it's not a knock on Ware.

It's a great play no matter what, but I honestly don't think it's a fake spin move based on the reasons I already stated.

I couldn't give two shits as to what he or any other ex-Cowboy are doing right about now, especially with the way our season is going.

Yeah, Staley barely even gets his hands on him. It's just a sick move that's hard to describe.

Looked like a fake spin to me also. Regardless the lineman bought it and away he goes.

I never have understood the Ware hate. For years and years when the Dallas defense sucked people wanted to blame the one guy who was doing his job.

I never hated Ware. He just got too expensive to maintain. He was getting like the elephant in the bedroom. Takes up too much space.

I agree with the financial reasons he had to move on. I regret, in hindsight, not re-signing him for what Denver was offering. He would help this D a lot. But that's hindsight. We didn't know Lawrence would get hurt and we didn't know the team would be good.
