As a Cowboys fan watching this game, I'm not too worried about the Redskins winning this. If this were the Cowboys, I'd already consider us down by 3.

I wonder if Seahawks fans are frustrated with this game the way we were with our Texans game.

As a Cowboys fan watching this game, I'm not too worried about the Redskins winning this. If this were the Cowboys, I'd already consider us down by 3.

I wonder if Seahawks fans are frustrated with this game the way we were with our Texans game.

The Seahawks not as good on the road and on grass, but this game was not ever really in doubt. Seattle had no fans to feed and just wanted to get the W and go home. Why go the extra lengths to blow out an opponent they care nothing about?

They did go the extra lengths...were very creative offensively...maybe too much so...and Wilson really laid it all out there tonight. They would have totally blown them out without the penalties...that is no so much about not caring about the opponent as it is just dumb plays.

I'm sure many of the players treated this week as an extended bye.

They certainly didn't spend their time off game-planning against Washington, and they probably stopped caring at all after going up 17-0. The penalties and sloppiness had all the earmarks of a team coasting through another week in a marathon grind and looking ahead to greater challenges.

Sorry...that is a team and coach that loves the spotlight...they were prepared, they just shot themselves in the foot and the Skins defense actually played pretty well.

Could be. I just believe lack of motivation factored more into poor play than anything Washington did. In any case Russell Wilson is the smartest QB in the conference and he wasn't going to let his team slip far.

Seattle's also didn't get the turnovers they normally do, either. Unfortunately for us that will probably change next week.

I don't buy that Ravi. Coaches and players know that if you don't prepare for every game that any NFL opponent can upset you. Players may coast sometimes but if the coach sees it they will be all over the player. Everyone is a pro so you have to be prepared for every game.

That's what everyone says, and as pros they do prepare, but they are also human beings. Just looking at the film they know Washington didn't really stand a chance against them, especially after they just defeated Denver for the second time.

Pro football players are also creatures of habit and schedule, and bye weeks disrupt that.

The coaches clearly tried and didn't succeed. It happens. Fortunately for Seattle Russell Wilson might be the NFL's next Tom Brady and he wasn't going to let his team come close to losing to a seriously outclassed opponent.
