If you would have told me we'd be heading to Seattle 4-1 I wouldn't believe it. It certainly has not been pretty, but there is a certain confidence this team is playing with that I love. A great example was the pick by Scandrick...prepared and confident, then made the play.

This is the most enthusiastic that I've felt in a game week in iver 2 years.

I cannot wait for this game vs the Seahawks. I really want to see just how good these Cowboys are, and this game is gonna tell us.

We want to be a physical team now, and what better way to measure just how physical you are than to go up against THE most physical team in all of football.

In the words of Bart Scott - can't wait.

Ooooo.....Dez Bryant and his TE like 11.7 yards per catch...ELITE WR!!!!

Guy cannot get open down field to save his life. He has to rely on out jumping or out muscling the defender to make a great play. You never see him wide open unless someone blows an assignment. Mediocre CBs run with him all over the field.
Oh, STFU.

That was a good throw by Romo, considering. He couldn't really step up, and got pasted right when he let it go.
Sure was.

His deep ball is frequently under thrown these days, and if it's under thrown there, Dez has no chance.

But he did a great job of getting a high arching throw off that allowed Dez to make a play on it and he did just that.

Bipo jumps on Dez about making a circus catch, and when called on it with a comparison to Irvin says, "Well, he won't be the best WR in Cowboys history! DER!!!".

Idiot.

I didn't get to see the game yesterday, but it sounds like it was a very sloppy game on both sides. Good to see we can pull the win out in one of those, finally.

The Texans are a physical team and gave Dallas some problems. The good news is that Linehan didn't pull the plug on the run. If the OL stays health next week and Murray stays sound it may be just enough to legitimately challenge Seattle.

Three penalties on punt returns had us starting in bad field position all afternoon. There were only a couple punt returns not called back and Harris fumbled one of those away. The Murray fumble cost us points, the game probably should have been 10-0 going into half because we were driving the ball very effectively before the fumble. Romo worked a little magic, O-line was good again; I think Watt only had 4 tackles? The defense was playing good ball until McClain left, then they started gouging us with the stretch plays. I was impress with Wilcox yesterday. He seemed to be flying to the ball and making solid tackles. Church whiffed hard on one of Foster's TD runs, just completely missed. Terrence Williams showed up again, chillin on my fantasy bench with yet another touchdown. And apparently a Jew owns the Patriots, good for him, proud of my people....

Wilcox is really coming on...just like a rocket shot upfield. Even was fairly effective in a couple of blitzes I saw.

So the cheating Patriots win again. Tuck rule, spy cam cheating; they have a Jewish owner. They are despicable. What have they done since they got caught cheating? They are a collection of cunts.
:lol

Wait, you were serious?

We could go in there and get the absolutely shit kicked out of us and it wouldn't surprise me, but I'm still looking forward to this game.

The way I look at it, I'm personally playing with house money right now because I never expected to be 4-1 nor did I think playoffs were even a remote possibility. No matter what happens this Sunday, I won't be mad whatsoever, but I could very well be happy depending on what happens.

It's a win/win scenario for me.

This game was a 10 point lead in the fourth. 9 or so minutes left. I get that it was a tough, hard fought game, but we need to put the game away.
This was a physical back and forth contest masquerading as a 10-point lead. We just happened to score our two TDs in between their two TDs. Houston defense stepped up and took us out of our rhythm. Fortunately two of the greatest pass plays in recent memory bailed us out.

I could put Romo juking Watt and hitting Williams for that leaping TD on an endless loop.

If they are going to be the physical, punch you in the face, run the ball team they claim to be, they are going to have to do a better job than that against a teams that are actually explosive offensively.
Dallas has a limited defense. If the offense can't find a rhythm, doesn't burn clock and score the defense wears down dramatically. Houston got the ball to it's moneymakers on offense,Foster and Johnson, and scored a whole 17 points.

Dallas couldn't stop shooting themselves in the foot offensively and left points on the field because of bad play-calling and poor execution. Everyone looked worn out by the end. Tough crap, they will need the hardening for next week.

Wait, did McClain get hurt again?

Just heard this stat on the radio about the Cowboys defense:

They've shutout opponents in the first half 3 times this season.

That's exactly how many times they had first half shutouts in the previous 4 seasons combined.

They may not be great, but they're doing enough to win. I just wish we could stay healthy.

It makes a lot of sense. Then they wear down in the second half. It's really up to the offense to get some first downs. Each 3-and-out is a major blow to this defense.

Wait, did McClain get hurt again?
I think he aggravated his groin while covering Foster on a wheel route in the 4th. He says he'll be ready for the Seattle game, but who knows?

Nobody is expecting us to compete in that game. Maybe we might be better off letting McClain and Carter heal up before we get into the meat of the schedule.
