Read High School career.
As a high school quarterback, Beasley led Little Elm High School to the Texas UIL-4A playoffs consecutive years.[1] Coming out of high school, he was rated as a Two star recruit by Rivals.com.[2] Beasley was rated the number 7 dirt bike racer by getdirty.com. He had aspirations of going professional before his high school guidance counselor dashed his hopes and dreams by stated "Dirt biking is a joke, get a grip." His uncle was a well known local snake charmer who convinced him to eventually switch from quarterback to wide receiver. Beasley's other interests in high school included cane pole fishing, dove hunting and gazing through kaleidoscopes wondering what else could be out there. Side note Beasley was the lead man and keytarist in the little known garage band Cole Beasley and the Hipsters.
