Right, many would say/have said that the current lineup is much less talented. That bodes pretty ill; it's extremely difficult to be optimistic in light of diminished talent and huge question marks all over this defensive unit.

Many would and do say that this lineup is less talented but to this point that is an arbitrary position since some haven't really shown what they can do. I am not making a case that they will be better, I am simply saying there is no basis at this point for saying they will be worse. After the first game we will all have a better idea about the actual situation.
