I bet it does....Jerry is the only one talking about the Cowboys, and thats a bit unusual. Usually theres a few talking heads yapping about them.

Not this year though.

There was some 'tard on FS1's 'America's Pregame Show' spouting that the Cowboys would win 10 games and that the defense would be much better.

So we have one guy in our corner. :towel

Bullshit. Jerry doesn't care as long as the other idiot Cowboys fans keep giving that imbecile money. Jerry will only start caring about winning when his margins shrink.

Sadly there's alot more koolaid drinkers than just that one, I had two trying to tell me Jerry can't make any moves without McClay & Garrett signing off on it & when I called them on it they said people inside the office said so. Then they blocked me after I asked if Broaddus was the source, you know the one that said 0% chance we sign Sam

Broaddus said there was a 0% we'd sign Sam? :lol

Why are people picking the 49ers for the NFC champs?
I think Seattle actually widened the margin this off-season.

Exactly what I was going to say.

San Francisco is not beating them. For one, Seattle is a better team who just has their number, but being as I expect San Fran to take a few steps back this year, that only reaffirms it for me that Seattle will beat them again.

If Seattle stays healthy, they're winning the NFC again. You're not going into that stadium and beating them, especially in the playoffs.

Jerry also loves attention and being "relevant" too. During the Campo era we were getting dropped from national TV games and I think that was part of what led to the Parcells hiring. Sure, Jerry wanted his cursed Arlington stadium, but being in the news again and being high profile was part of his motivation.

You know Clay, I've come along to this line of thinking as well. I think remaining relevant is as big of a motivator for Jerry as making money.

As long as the networks keep putting the Cowboys on prime time games and the Cowboys are being talked about on a national level the motivation to change courses of action just isn't there. In Jerry's mind I'm sure he wants to win but he needs to be relevant.

We all know the difference between want and need.
