Fisher disagrees. He believes that Jerry has a very little role in personnel decisions.
No, that is just his little sly way of tap dancing around things.
It is very much like other retards who think, oh, it really is Ciskowski who runs the show. No, wait, now it is McClay.
It is just deflection.
Smoke and mirrors.
Look, only a certified fucking idiot thinks Jones studies film and has strong opinions on personnel.
He doesn't and only a certified fucking idiot spends time erecting that strawman to dash through and claim superiority.
Jerry Jones is like most CEOs. He delegates and rubber stamps.
If he likes something, he approves. If he dislikes, he overrules. He listens to too many and how little to no original thought. And most of the time it depends on how healthy his shit was that particular morning. There is little to no thought process involved with the decisions why it was brought to his attention or how the troops on the field feel about it. He does know how he is perceived and desperately wants people to think he is in charge though.
From time to time sticks his nose into things he does not understand and makes firm decisions. Then when they explode in his incompetent face, he cuts someone else's nuts off.
If that is what Fisher means by "little role in personnel decisions", I agree.
