I think that means missing 8 games. There is a short-term IR now, maybe we can put him on that, not sure what the rules are though.

Huh. They were just talking about Lawrence being put on the reg pup on NFL radio. Go figure."Second, there's the Reserve/PUP (regular season PUP list). Any player starting on the Active PUP list (and has not practiced) with the team becomes eligible for the Reserve/PUP at the end of training camp. Once a player practices during training camp, all PUP list options are off the table. This is important to note. Both Lynch and Ramsey could be cleared within a day or two of the start of training camp, but starting them on the PUP list leaves it on the table as an option if there is a setback."

They are wrong. If it were that easy, teams would be doing it left and right. Once camp begins, and the guy practices, PUP is not an option.Huh. They were just talking about Lawrence being put on the reg pup on NFL radio. Go figure.
That was pretty silly, even without the benefit of hindsight. He ate the cheese. Now look at him.Definitely kills the ridiculous "10 sack" shat right now.
Not surprised at all. Undersized and physically weak is not a good combination for a starting NFL DE. Being a rookie thrown to the wolves makes it worse.
He's way out of his weight class given the demand that he play and start. Tyron Smith has gained nothing at all by practicing against him, and from Lawrence's perspective it must have been totally frustrating. It's inevitable that Smith would abuse him especially once he hit his first rookie wall.

Yes...if he had not said it, he would have not gotten injured. Cheese cause broken feet. That was pretty silly, even without the benefit if hindsight. He ate the cheese. Now look at him.

Feh. He sets goals for himself, not a bad thing to do.No causality theory. He should have gone the humble route; he's a rook replacing a first ballet Hall of Famer and franchise all-timer..
Save the bravado and unrealistic goals for another time. Really.
Agreed. 10 sacks is a lofty goal for a rookie, but not unimaginable. It's not like he was spouting off about leading the league or breaking the single season record or some shit like that.Feh. He sets goals for himself, not a bad thing to do.
It is a deal for guys when they walk into this culture we have. That won't change. If player after player after player does the same shit, it is not on them.Agreed. 10 sacks is a lofty goal for a rookie, but not unimaginable. In this case the walking boot fits.
I knew you'd jump on the fact he's "undersized" and "physically weak".
How does his bench press impact breaking a foot.?In this case the walking boot fits.
I mean, are you saying he's not undersized? Or that 20 bench press reps is not relatively weak?
Unless he's some kind of freak or received very bad training, his arm strength is a good indicator of the rest of his body's strength. How does his bench press impact breaking a foot.?
