I like the player, but not in the first round.

I am just stunned we felt we needed to take him.

And THIS is what we get in a massive trade down?

Kyle Long and Justin P.Ugh went way too early too. OL values are all out of whack. I can't bitch about drafting somebody to push the wort Center in football though.

Warford's probably a better guard prospect. Frederick can play center, but that doesn't vault him above a better player.

It's a little underwhelming, but we actually used a first round pick on an interior OL for once. That's pretty refreshing.

Strong, mauling interior OL in the run game. Lacks ideal mobility and can be slow getting out to second-level at times. But a smart, crafty run blocker with good initial quickness off the ball. Does an excellent job with first step angles as a reach and scoop blocker. Has quick, strong hands and is crafty with hand placement/usage (gets away with a lot of clutching and grabbing of DL because of his inside placement). Has enough upper body strength (21 reps of 225) to lock out and the lower-body strength to drive defenders off the line.

I like, now follow it with Short/Elam please.

I love the sign. "Can we trade our picks for a new GM?"

Who's MIA on the board tonight, and are they in NY right now?

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

21 reps on the bench.

Just what we need..another underpowered Center.

After watching that f'd up first round, I'm not upset over with who we got. Unless something crazy happens, he should be our day one starter at center. Or possibly even at guard.

Oh well, on to round two.

I know him.

I also know that NO TEAM IN THE NFL was going to trade up to take him.

This is an absolutely terrible choice in terms of value.

I couldn't have made a worse pick for them.
You would routinely make better picks cause you are a better GM than Jerry is. So am I.

But Frederick is a good lineman. This isn't David Arkin.
