The DL will rotate, and even 7th rounders can be effective when used sparingly.

The DL will be better than last season just by having gotten younger.

I'm very concerned about LB where we are down to one half of one stud manning 6-7 positions. LB's have to be too versatile to rotate out like you can a DL, they must play most of the game-- and we have one of the worst LB corps in the league.

If Lee stays healthy I think this will be one of the strengths of the defense. I feel good about the Iowa kid. He will need a lot of cramming but I like his motor.

I'm not worried about LBer either. Butler actually looked very good last year as an OLBer. Holloman looked very promising. We now add Hitchens to the mix and I think we have some talent and depth at the position.

I have a problem buying this Lawrence grading out as a first round talent stuff when the people doing the grading are the same morons that think Jeff Heath is a viable NFL Safety.

FWIW, these are the same people who said Claiborne had the highest grade at CB since Deion.

All I actually know about him is some videos. Obviously they are highlights and favorable but he gets to the spot in a hurry and tackles well.

Yeah that's exactly who I meant.

I like that Wilber is big and athletic enough to match up physically with a lot of TEs, he also has a tiny bit of pass rush ability and might be a guy we can send on blitzes.
