And it still hasn't stopped. Reminds me of Tebow and the constant media blitz.

Broaddus is saying a couple things on DC.com radio show today.

1) They are strongly, strongly considering moving up for "their guy" along the DL. He keeps mentioning "right end" but I don't think he knows who their guy is specifically.

2) That trade up would probably cost a third, and he's ok with that.

3) Says "Forget about Hageman." Sounds like he knows it's not Hageman.

4) Says he likes Crichton and Ealy but thinks those guys are left ends, not right ends. Sounds like he's implying Demarcus Lawrence, without saying it explicitly.

The other guys on the show are resisting him on that, saying there are way too many DLs around to trade up for one, that if they stay put, they'll get a good DL, and keep their third rounder to boot. I'm with them.

He's been pushing Lawrence all morning all twitter.
He's actually throwing a little minor tantrum about it. None of the three other guys on the show are agreeing with him and he's clearly bothered that none of them seem to mind if they get Lawrence, Ealy, Crichton, Jernigan, etc. And he's like "NO IT MUST BE LAWRENCE HE'S A FIRST ROUNDER AND INSTANT RE STARTER"

Broaddus loves Lawrence but who knows if the Cowboys love him as much as he does. They've shown a lot of interest in Kony Ealy haven't they? He could be their guy.

:lol

The guy always seems like he's a split second away from a tantrum. Seems like the type of person that wears out his welcome everywhere he goes.

I like Lawrence alot, Jernigan would be my first choice of those 4 but I'd be happy with any of them.

I think we should sit tight, see what happens with the first 5-7 picks of the 2nd round and then look to trade up if our targets are going off the board.

No doubt. The emergency doob might need to be kicked up a notch to the emergency shot of morphine.

I have a feeling that's probably who it is though. They'll cough up their 3rd to move up for him, claiming they had him graded out as a first rounder. Just from reading about him recently I don't think I'd want to give up a 3rd to move up for him.

He used to post a little bit over at the zzzzone. I used to fuck with him over there when I still had my NoDak account. He was prone to tantrums there, too. :lol

From McShay:

Dallas Cowboys: Notre Dame OT Zack Martin at No. 16

Nothing against Johnny Manziel, and I get that Tony Romo is 34 years old and coming off a back injury, but drafting Manziel would have created a nightmare in Dallas. Given the needs at other positions and the potential friction it would have caused in the quarterback room and across the offense, I think the Cowboys would have run the risk of losing the locker room if they had taken Manziel. I also think Martin (the No. 9-ranked player on our board) can step in right away and contribute at right tackle or left guard, and his arrival makes this a really formidable group. The Cowboys have now spent three first-round picks on offensive linemen in the past four years, solidifying an area that was once a major weakness. That's good roster management.

Edit: Looks like someone posted it already.

If I remember right I think his username was just scout, or something like that.

If you ever questioned ANYTHING he posted, the 'tard patrol would come riding in on their pokemon mounts and shout you down. Made for some good laughs.

@AdamSchefter: Filed to ESPN: 49ers trading a conditoonal 2015 4th-round pick to Buffalo for WR Stevie Johnson, per sources. Pick can become a 3rd.

which is more valid?

1) Adrian Peterson has the last best chance to best Emmitt's record seeing as how the RB position is being devalued in deference to spread offenses.

2) The recent draft drought is just coincidental and the running game is more important than ever.

That trade would be idiotic. I like Lawrence but not if it costs us a 3rd. There are 7-8 DL I would have no problem with in the 2nd. No way half of the guys taken ahead of us will be DL so a few, at least a couple of them will drop to us. Besides, the Eagles just got a 3rd for moving down 5 spots in the 1st. And last year we just received a 3rd for moving down a dozen or so spots in the 1st. Ludicre to give up a 3rd to move up in the 2nd.

Eatman said on the Break that Dallas almost traded up for the #32 pick last night. Said Seattle called them and Stephen considered the offer but ultimately passed.

If that's the case it sounds awfully likely they move up from 47. 38-39 range was Eatman's guess, but I'm sure it was only a guess.
