And we should all love it. Look what the 49ers did a few years ago. Pumped some high resources into their OLine and we all were jealous.

This was a good pick.
It's not even debatable.

Spagnola doesn't like the pick. "You don't need 3 first round picks on your offensive line". :dunce

Who was your pick? Quit bitching and say who you would have approved of.
And when Gabe Jackson is a better guard next year, we can still hug our teddy bears at night knowing that Martin is versatile.

I would have taken Manziel and if we didn't go QB, Pryor. A stud safety would make a worlds difference to this defense.

Martin starts at G this year and takes over for Free next year. I'm fine with the pick.

Now run the ball.

And a player who will never be a stud. I guess this will test the theory about having a great O-line. We have three first round picks up front. If our offense isn't unstoppable someone has some serious questions to answer.
But who available would be a stud? Dix, Pryor, CJ Mosely? JFF? I Martin along with those were the BPA and none are sure fire can't miss studs. That happens when you go 8-8 and end up in the middle of the round.

Still a lot of DL left on the board. Imagine that at least a couple of Ealy, Tuitt, Ford, Lawrence, Crichton, Hageman, Jernigan likely to be on the board in round 2. And I'd love to see Easley in the 3rd, he's got the potential to be ever bit the player that Donald will be if he can stay healthy (though that is a big if).

We've been begging for these assholes to fix the lines for years. Glad they're finally spending some decent picks to upgrade the trenches.

Land a couple of DL tomorrow and Saturday and I'm happy. Throw in a safety if possible.
Well it's nice but it's all OLine. We need help on D way more. But hey whatever.

Do the guys the 49ers took remind you of Martin? They aren't similar players in any way what so ever. The 49ers built their O-line around physically dominating O-lineman. Show me a report that refers to Martin as physically dominating?

Fine Martin will be a solid starter. I just have no faith he will ever be more then that.

Gabe Jackson would not have been a better pick than Martin. I don't give a damn how you feel about his versatility being a "weakness". And, I would definitely have not taken Pryor over Martin.
