Off Topic could be made into a forum. Then you could have sub-forums of TV, Beer, BBQ, Movies, Music, etc.

That way each TV show, Movie, style of beer, etc could have its own thread. Then someone wouldn't have to wade through all the Hannibal posts to see the comments on Game of Thrones' latest episode if they didn't want to.

Just a thought.

I could see making the TV thread its own forum........it has consistently been a active area.

I agree. That way people can start threads about their favorite show. Digging through all of it is ugly, plus you could only go to the threads of the TV shows you care about.

Plus, if there is a thread for each TV show you won't have to worry about running across spoilers for one show while reading/discussing some other random show.

That's what Spoiler tags are for.

Splitting it will slow the thread. Right now a fan of any show has to check it when there is a new post.

Right, and it'll also lead to a bunch of useless threads. Who wants to see 1bigfan talking to himself in The Boondocks Thread? Nobody. But it's tolerable when those posts are littered and hidden in a thread about good TV.

Yup, or else, why even have that ability.

I was in favor of making changes to our sub forums so I get it, but I don't think tv talk warrants that.

The thread is just fine as it is, IMO.

If this is the new thread suggestions I have one:

We should have a feature that lets everyone know who hates a post, and another category that disagrees with those who like a post.

You can do that by, I dunno, replying to the post you don't agree with.

You see, wouldn't it have been more satisfying if I could have hated that post instead of liked it?

Tell you what, how about you just reply with -1 when you want to hate a post?

I guess you can not understand, luckily my question was not directed at you rather "the powers that be".
