I almost quit the show when they killed String. Luckily a friend of mine convinced me to watch season 4 anyway - which was the best season. Anyone who says otherwise is objectively wrong
I have found this to be the case with the Wire, no one shares my opinion that Season two was the best.

As for favorite characters; I thought Stringer owned the first three seasons; and after that, I was drawn more to the secondary characters like Prop Joe & Wee-Bay. Bunk always made me laugh and I though Lt. Rawls' character could have been greatly expanded upon.

How many episodes are there to True Detective? I see 8 on HBO on demand.

So this weekend we have the premier of Game of Thrones but another HBO series is about to start that I'm really excited about. Silicon Valley.

Ya, it looks good. Veep is also in that 2 hour block. That's a stellar lineup.

You guys are nuts. I think Jeff Dunham is very funny.

Even if I found Dunham funny (I generally don't), there's so many people out there that are funnier that I wouldn't have time to pay attention to him anyhow.

Dunham isn't funny, but all the guests that he brings on stage are pretty good. That Peanut guy has some nice original material, sucks that he can't seem to get his own show, I don't know why they always have to pair him with Dunham. He could go out on his own and be very successful.

If you're saying you don't like ventriloquists, I get that. But, Dunham is funny, IMO.
