I like how the solution of college sports, since oh noes! the college athletes aren't getting the money for their unnamed fake likenesses coming in, is to simply kill off all the revenue so no one gets any.

I eventually want an Xbox One as well but it just doesn't have the exclusive games to draw me in yet.

Whereas with PS4 you know you are getting Uncharted and Last of Us sequels, which were by far the bulk of the games I played on consoles last generation.

I also played Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV and V, and various sports games, but those will be on either console without much difference.

Yea, there's no way it's gonna be double the power it is now.

And I like how one of the selling points is how it's going to allow it allow games to run in 1080p as opposed to 720p.



My PS4 already does that.

For anyone who plays games on a PC or messes with PC hardware for whatever reason, when have you ever seen anything software based strengthen or boast a hardware component by double its power?

Like Dallen said, it's just marketing speak which Sony is also guilty of as well.

I'm sorry, I know there are "a lot of games" scheduled to be announced for both consoles this year but a lot of them look like they suck. I need a big franchise announcement.

Ya, but do you think if anything amazing was going to be announced Sony would skip it? Doubtful. Especially not if it were one of their exclusives.

BTW, the former lead writer for Naughty Dog (did all 3 Uncharted's) has left and moved on the company making the new Star Wars games. That could be interesting.

I'm picking up a PS4 in May and The Show is the first game I'm getting.

I don't know how it is on PS4, but on XB1 digital download is the way to go. So bad ass to switch between games, TV, music, whatever...without having to move.

Yeah, Amy Hennig. Could be bad, but I doubt it will matter TOO much. She was actually really only the true lead on Uncharted 1 and 3, and I thought 3 was the weakest.

Neil Druckmann was really the lead designer on Uncharted 2, from everything I've heard, and that was the best of the series. Hhe also created and wrote the Last of Us, which Hennig wasn't really involved in. He is now the lead on the new Uncharted.

Given how great the Last of Us was, I doubt it will matter.

Obviously if you have a game based on a disc, you have to get up and swap.

But every game is available for download as well.

I like the disc still. The hard drive space is limited. I download all those PS+ games though, and you can just switch between those games.

I like digital download if it can be a Steam-like system, or Apple, where the games you purchased for download are linked to your account and you can always re-download them. Not sure if that's the case with the XB1 and PS4.
