Romo, Garrett set to take in Duke game

March, 7, 2014

By Todd Archer | ESPNDallas.com

IRVING, Texas – If you're wondering where Tony Romo is this weekend and wondering how he looks after back surgery in December, click here.

Romo and coach Jason Garrett will attend Saturday's game between Duke and North Carolina after the two have watched a couple of SMU games at Moody Coliseum together.

In the video, Romo hits a couple of jumpers at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

This is Garrett's second trip to Duke to visit with coach Mike Krzyzewski. In 2011 Garrett said he took pages and pages of notes after meeting with Krzyzewski. This time he brought Romo along with him.
--------------

Just kind of weird.

Maybe I just do not pay attention to the other thirty one, but do many other QBs take in basketball games with their head coaches like they were like best bros?

He has been doing it for several years. Does not appear his alien replication abilities are quite up to snuff.

These two little fuckbois would go to see a pretentious game like Duke/UNC, grow a heart and go see a team with heart like Michigan St., Florida, Louisville or Wichita St.

I can't even take pleasure in rooting for these two goober fucks. 3-13 next year with both of these jokers gone in 2015 is probably for the best.

:lol

Yeah, I don't see the big deal here.

The only problem I have is that they seem to have to go to basketball games to learn good coaching and leadership.

Coaches usually try to mentor other coaches...Belichick did with Coach K earlier in the year. Not saying it will help Garrett, but this is not an uncommon practice.

It's not that big of a deal, but I just find it odd that the pair of them are hanging out together like best bros. Can't say I can see a real head coach doing that.

Garrett is like a lot of the teachers these days. That would rather be a buddy to their students than an instructor, supervisor and disciplinary.
