Knock up was very underrated. I thought that was a great movie, Ramis as Rogen's dad was brilliant.

‘Ghostbusters 3′ Script To Be Updated Following Harold Ramis’ Death; Sequel Will Cont
A third Ghostbusters movie has been in the works for over twenty years now, with co-writer of the original film Dan Aykroyd continually trying to get the project off the ground and having the main cast of the films return in some capacity, including Harold Ramis, who portrayed Egon in the movies and was also a co-writer. Ramis sadly passed away on Monday, and now we’re already hearing that meetings at Sony are being planned to reconfigure the sequel’s plot to account for his death.
Ivan Reitman, who directed both the original Ghostbusters and the first sequel, is currently attached to direct the third installment, from a current script co-written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, who were writers on The Office. In the most current version of the story, Ramis, Aykroyd, and Bill Murray would only make brief appearances in the film and whose characters would act in a baton-passing role to a new generation of Ghostbusters.
According to THR, a source at Sony noted of Ramis that “he was always great to bounce something off of, and that will certainly be missed, but it won’t affect the script,” which sounds like Ramis’ Egon Spengler’s character, objectively speaking of course, had an extremely small place within the story. The movie had not progressed far enough in production to begin shooting in 2014 though, and now with the absence of Ramis, that will still be further delayed.
While movie studios are of course in the business of making money, it is still unfortunate that they would decide to progress with a third installment of the original series now that a key member of the Ghostbusters is no longer with us. At this point, it would make more sense to just completely reboot the series and start fresh, or just let it go and leave us with the memories of the original letting it serve as a cornerstone testament to the incredible talents of Harold Ramis.
