Wilson's frame is better suites to absorb contact. It doesn't matter whether Manzeil intends to run or not, when he is pressed he will run. It is inate to his instincts. It is rare to see him pull in the ball and take a loss. He had an edge in college with that manuaver but it won't fly in the pros.
I'd rather see him run than get in the fetal position everytime.

I am all for playing smart, but I am also for a guy who never says die. Wilson and Manziel are pretty much the exact same size...not following you on the frame thing.

Manziel's frame is nothing like Wilson's.

They might weigh the same, but Manziel is a lot like RGIII. I get how people worry about him being slight of frame because he is.

Again though...rarely, if ever, have I seen him take a big hit.

Their skeletal and bone structures are different. Russel is thicker and more compact.

Yeah RG 111 is probably a better example.

And Manziel comes without RGIII's height, athleticism, or arm strength.

I don't disagree. He is very good at giving little to hit.

Emmitt Smith was a master at not giving up his body to be hit. But he also got downgraded on size.

I swear teams spend so much time worrying about "size".

I was not saying he is better in any of those metrics. But I think the frames are similar.

And Manziel avoids hits much better than Griffin. That alone can add to his value.

I want him to do well where ever he lands. I just have reservations.

No, you hate him.

This is the first time you are not wishy washy wait and see. You will be judged by your evaluations so far.

I have not been as excited for a player to come in the league since Mike Williams...so there is that.
