They aren't the same team everyone thinks of when they hear the word Chiefs. Really weren't last year either but they skated through the playoffs somehow. But this year is another step down.

In the big picture it would probably help them to have a down year and get higher picks while avoiding the wear of the extra playoff games they usually play.

Yeah their Oline hasn't been particularly good either. Mahomes has gotten hit a lot when I watched them. They have lots of receiving options but other than Kelce none are reliably good. Their RBs have not been good either.

Yep, it's important to make and keep them 1-dimensional so our guys can pin their ears.

And to me, one reason for the drop off is Kelce isn't what he once was. He's no spring chicken anymore and has a lot of miles on that odometer.

"We know the problem. I need to catch the fucking ball."

Yeah. Cee Dee Lamb is far from being a problem. Sideline, locker room, or whatever.

I would take this dude on my team any day. And twice on Sundays.
Me too, everyone needs a great #2

Listen I'm just glad that when Lamb has an off day we have another guy who can dominate. In the past few years any time a team figured out how to shut down Lamb or limit him, we had nothing. Now if Pickens does have an off game hopefully that's when Lamb steps up and dominates. It really has to be a nightmare for defensive coordinators to defend.

Pickens isn't capable of an off game. He is unvaccinated.

Lamb's numbers this season extrapolated to 17 games: 93 Rec, 1343 yards. And that's coming off 4 straight 1000 yard seasons and 3 straight 100 reception seasons.

There should be no question he's a number one and one of the best receivers in football. He's not even having a down year outside of injury.

In terms of drops, it has been a down year.

Yea he just hasn't been as impressive as Pickens, so while at this exact moment he might be our "2" he's obviously an elite WR as long as these drops don't continue.

At the end of the day they're both "1's" and top 5-10 WR's and that's about all there is to it.
