It's fine, Mr. GM...you're learning on the job & we have no doubt you'll right the ship with a "man in the mirror" jerkoff.

Please let the team owner know that we'll continue to pack the stadium while you sort it out.

Warmest regards,
Cowboys fans

Fuck. He's keeping Eberflus isn't he.
I'm listening to the interview right now, and they asked why Eberflus was the right guy. Jerry said he'd been here seven years (I had to look to confirm, I didn't realize it was that long) and Jerry knew him well. :doh

Also, that he'd had teams in a tailspin before and pulled them out of it. I wish they'd asked when exactly that was because I don't know WTF he's talking about there.

That was with the Bears. I think he took over play calling from his DC one year and turned them around.

I guess that was the year they went 7-10? It couldn't have been the years they went 3-14 or 5-12... :doh

Still don't know if this guy is reliable or he just got lucky on a couple of things. :shrug

The big question is how long is Eberflus' contract? I can't seem to find it.
No kidding. I don't remember ever reading about how long it was or how much he's being paid.

I don't even think that was released about Schotty.

Like Ace said though, I won't be a bit surprised if Jerry sticks with him no matter what. He said on the radio today that one of his regrets was the lack of continuity with the DCs the last few years. So he could justify keeping his boy by claiming he finally wants to stabilize that position. :doh

Bruce Arians: 2 years ago this is a great trade, not sure it helps today.

I don't see how it's a B- when all you give up is a seventh.

Hembo: Cowboys D is the worst in allowed third down conversions in 40 years.
