That's the only angle that makes sense to me, is if it were somehow to make the shooter look like nobody else knew ahead of time.

If that's really the text exchange I do have to say it feels pretty weird and pre prepared. Maybe not the last parts but the early parts read like a 12 year old writing a shitty class play.
