Two ones plus Williams from the jets would have been a much better deal given the Jets picks are likely much better than GB.
Depends on the player being included and Williams is better than Clark, although he's a bit older than I thought so I still probably would've wanted two 1's and Williams. Not me. The two ones were the STARTING point.
The cap situation would also be helped if they stopped paying their own mediocre free agents like they're top 10 at their position.
The sad part is the average fan would take that as real quality free agents, not five more Olawales.
They could sign like 700,000 players to $3million 1 year deals. This is huge.

How funny would it be if in two years they signed a lesser pass rusher for the same money cuz the prices went up?
jerry couldn’t be more wrong. You have to go seek out deals or you don’t know who you can take advantage of.
My guess is that they'll make an attempt to sign Sam Williams and Pickens depending on how their seasons go, Aubrey is pretty much a guarantee, and Elam is 50/50.

Man, so fuckin glad we got this important position tied up for MILLIONs over Pass rusher
When this Oline starts taking over games you'll understand...Man, so fuckin glad we got this important position tied up for MILLIONs over Pass rusher
Yeah it's definitely different. And it very much feels like the organization is trying to make a point to the players about contracts. It's like the Parsons situation prompted a complete change in the way we view contracts and the way we want players to view our organization.I realize that the FO is trying to make a point, but is this the first time they've voluntarily extended a 1st rounder after 3 years?
I say voluntarily because they only extended Elliott because he was threatening to hold out.
