Cap figures for a particular player in any given year are meaningless. They have plenty of money to sign more players.

Right now we have more cap space than the Eagles for example.

Should we talk about how terrible the Eagles are for having 16 mil in dead money tied up in Kelce? 16 mil in Josh Sweat? 10 mil in Fletcher Cox?

I'd be very curious to see what sort of deals we could get for him.

If we could get a young, properly sized DE such as Travon Walker, Greg Rousseau or Odafe Oweh, all of whom could probably be extended for about 25/year, plus picks on top (something like a 1, 2 and 3), that's something I'd very seriously consider.

I'd also consider pure picks in a trade from shit teams like the Raiders, if they coughed up two 1's and two 2's I'd ship him out and look forward to having two top 10ish picks plus our own in 2026 and 2027, plus the two's.

But we all know how this is going to end.

Special players are hard to come by and our defense has been night and day when Parsons is on the field verse him not on the field. I said a 1/2/3 plus one of those players, which are all guys who are likely to make a Pro Bowl or two, if not more.
