Because he said it would be done on "day one".

Now I'm not that unrelenting that I would expect that these things would be done in 24 hours, but it's obvious he didn't even have a fucking plan.
No, that’s not obvious.

And if you didn’t take the “day one” talk as his standard braggadocio, then you’re the problem. We all get what he meant. That’s the problem with Trump, but if he delivers in 2 years instead of 24 hours that’s still a win.

And in his first term he delivered a lot of things that a Reagan Republican is supposed to like.

Multiple investigations confirmed that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. The Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report (2019) concluded that while Russia engaged in a “sweeping and systematic” effort to influence the election, the investigation did not establish that the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government. However, a bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report (2020) found that Trump campaign officials had extensive contacts with individuals tied to Russian intelligence and assessed that the campaign "presented a grave counterintelligence threat"—a conclusion some interpreted as evidence of collusion, although the report stopped short of formally accusing the campaign of criminal conspiracy.

Even though we have confirmed that Russia interfered in the 2016 election, President Trump and some members of his administration frequently dismissed or contradicted those conclusions. Trump publicly questioned the legitimacy of the Russia investigation, labeled it a "hoax," and accused officials like former FBI Director James Comey, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of conducting a politically motivated "witch hunt."

Trump often claimed that there was no interference by Russia, and suggested that the FBI and Democrats fabricated the allegations for political gain.

The Democrats and the FBI did fabricate the allegations for political gain.

And big fucking deal that the administration had “extensive contact with individuals with ties to Russian intelligence.” Thats a lot of big words to say nothing. It’s not illegal and it’s nothing that every other administration didn’t also do.

You know who ACTUALLY had ties with foreign intelligence to try to sink their political opponent? Hillary fucking Clinton with the Steele dossier, which, prepare yourself here… was completely fabricated and they knew it!

Find something that says he was "exonerated" for Russiagate as you said. I'll help you out... if you do find that word it will be because Mueller explicitly stated he was not.
Mueller explicitly stated that he was, numb nuts.

And that’s not how criminal investigations work. You don’t prove that you didn’t do the allegations. The accuser proves you did do it.

They could not, because he didn’t.

Yep I was listening to that podcast this morning. I have yet to see the calamity that was predicted for the economy and I hope it doesn't happen but we don't have agreements with 90% of the countries right now.
We have a number and the number is growing, we just signed a big one with Europe.

I’m not even a fan of tariffs but this is just more dishonesty from you.

You don't even need more than two hands to count the number of deals so far but please, dance more.

This is what happens when you listen to Trump (and believe him) because again that is patently false
It absolutely is not false.

I fucking read the thing.

The Mueller report said there was no evidence of criminal conspiracy or EVEN COORDINATION with the Russian government.

Where you might be confused, in your ignorance, and your rush to condemn Trump at every chance you can, is that the Mueller report said if a regular citizen acted like the Trump administration during the investigation, they probably would have been charged with obstruction of Justice.

But the Supreme Court set Mueller straight because a President can’t be charged with obstruction of his own Justice Department.

So… no collusion. And Mueller’s conclusions about obstruction (the only reason he did not “exonerate” Trump) are legally incorrect.

This is getting funny now.

please tell me you read the part where Mueller said there was “no collusion”. I’ll wait here.

And “insufficient evidence” doesn’t mean “no evidence”.

you know what he did find evidence of? Obstruction of justice.

It’s only funny because you’re too stupid to know what you’re reading.

Collusion is a term of art. The legal basis for any illegal activity vis-a-vis the Trump campaign and Russia is criminal conspiracy. He did not find sufficient evidence to bring charges against him.

Do you know what the fuck that even means? Prosecutors bring charges all the time when they don’t have “proof” but they think they have enough information to persuade a jury that it likely happened. In this instance, Mueller is saying “we don’t even have enough information to bring charges, let alone conviction ‘beyond a reasonable doubt.’”

That’s legalese for exonerated on “criminal conspiracy,” - or, as the media kept calling it, collusion.

That’s what it fucking means.

If you don’t find even enough evidence to charge, then he’s exonerated.

you know what he did find evidence of? Obstruction of justice.
Evidence of obstruction of Justice isn’t evidence of Russiagate “collusion,” or, as I said, criminal conspiracy. So he was exonerated on the collusion.

The obstruction part is in reference to the administration wasn’t cooperating with the investigation. And prosecutors are used to being able to bark demands at the parties they are investigating and having them comply.

The problem is that Mueller was investigating his boss. The whole concept of obstruction means that you are doing something illegally to hinder an investigation.

But Trump has complete authority over said investigation. He could have legally issued an order demanding that Mueller cease the investigation. It would have pissed off Congress something fierce, the Democrats would have called for impeachment, but there’s not a damn thing anyone could do about it.

And Mueller also admitted this point in the report because he acknowledged it is not an accepted theory of law universally that the President couldn’t demand a halt to the investigation.

Trump behaved during the investigation under that theory. He knowingly did stuff that would have gotten other people charged with obstruction BECAUSE LEGALLY HE KNEW (and was advised by his attorneys) that it was a legal impossibility for him to obstruct justice. He could have told Mueller to shred all the evidence and it would have been completely legal.

But he didn’t. He allowed the investigation to reach its conclusion, because he was not guilty. And all the bellyaching about obstruction is completely and utterly irrelevant.

The Supreme Court later even issued an opinion proving I’m right - they said a President cannot be charged for actions relating to his official capacity, one of which is administering the DOJ.

Ex post facto, the Mueller report is completely worthless about anything it said on obstruction: the Supreme Court has weighed in, a President cannot obstruct his own justice department.

So you are wrong. Because you are ignorant.

And you are willfully ignorant because of TDS.

CNN isn’t credible, but, when we posted the sources that called it in advance you dismiss them. Here are your own type who finally realize they were wrong.
What's crazy is you know these guys also believe that:

1. Covid came from a bat
2. Anthony Fauci is a national hero
3. Trump killed hundreds of millions of people
4. The vaccines worked great
etc.

Just to touch on one topic.

Also do you notice how the goal posts moved? First the question was exoneration. Then it changed to “not sufficient evidence doesn’t mean no evidence.” Who cares whether there is zero evidence or one small piece of evidence?

Evidence amounts to being able to make a case in totality and Mueller (grudgingly, cause he also hates Trump) flat out admitted there was nowhere close to enough evidence to charge criminal conspiracy (“collusion.”)

Exonerated. That’s what all that means.

You’re acting like a fucking retard on this Irv. You are completely and utterly incorrect on literally everything you’ve said.

If we take away the stupid comments about how quickly it would all be done, which anyone with a brain knew was fluff, what would be a reasonable amount of tariff deals for the administration to reach within a year?

And again I’m not even pro tariff.

That's also what's funny, when they call it "Trump's DOJ." As if the vast majority of the DOJ didn't hate him.

Here’s the key findings of the Mueller report. Of course it doesn’t say “Trump is exonerated.” But that’s what it all means.

Not only “insufficient evidence,” to charge, though that’s the key takeaway. But essentially the report found NO evidence of criminal conspiracy.

There’s not a SINGLE FUCKING THING in the “key findings” that outline any conspiratorial behavior by Trump or anyone in his orbit. The most they can do is say that they took a meeting to see if there was any dirt on Clinton (there wasn’t). If that’s a crime, what is the fucking Steele dossier then?? The Steele dossier is far worse! Trump surrogates took a meeting. Clinton paid for a fabricated report from foreign nationals and almost certainly knew it was false.

And the obstruction thing as I said was a political diversion and later made a billion percent irrelevant. It wasn’t possible at any time for a President to obstruct an investigation by his own Justice department because he was in constitutional full control of all investigations.

It might have been a shady ass thing for Trump to do, if he had shuttered an investigation by the DOJ into potential crimes, but, thems the breaks when you are elected president. Have a state investigate said crimes then; Trump doesn’t have authority over the justice department of California or New York for example. New York doesn’t have criminal conspiracy laws? They couldn’t make the case that he colluded with Russia to interfere with the New York elections? Since he wasn’t president at the time in question, the actions regarding any collusion/conspiracy wouldn’t have been related to his official capacity and not covered under the Supreme Court’s later opinion.

But they didn’t do that because, you know, there wasn’t anything to find.

Exonerated in Russia Gate. Period. The end. Irv couldn’t possibly be more wrong.
