Chicago is another team that surprised me by taking a WR early.

They pissed me off when they drafted Luther Burden out of Mizzou. They already have Rome Odunze (1st rd pick last year) and DJ Moore.

Greedy mofos. :mad
They're all in getting weapons for their finger nail painted QB.

Kinda jealous, really.

So the three picks that they've made have ranged from good to awesome.

We've talked Booker ad nauseum, but Ezeiruaku is someone who I would've considered if we had ended up trading down to 25, getting him at 44 is ridiculous and I think it might end up being our best 2nd rounder in a very long time.

Revel I would've been fine with in the 2nd if the board was a certain way, getting him in the 3rd isn't a massive steal like Ezeiruaku but it's still a very good pick.

But this is the problem when you box yourself in by half-assing FA, even though they've made three very good picks we're still sitting here with pretty big holes at RB, WR and DT.

I don't even know what the hell these guys are going to do with 7 freaking picks tomorrow but I'd be looking to package several of those to move up into the late 4/early 5 range.

Fuck you, Stephen A. Just, fuck you.
Stephen A. doesn't watch CFB and aside for 4 or 5 teams, he barely pays attention to the NFL. So his opinion on the topic carries no weight.

His lack of basic knowledge has been exposed on several ocassions.

He's an entertainer, not a sports analyst who should be taken seriously.

Would love to get Royals, but I'm guessing he goes early tomorrow.

I wonder how long it took Deion to kick out the camera crews that were there to film Shedeur being drafted?

Being honest... I never thought Sanders would have fallen out of the first. And would have bet money he wouldn't have fell out of the 2nd.

Is it too much to ask for him to fall out of the 3rd, too?
No. No it wasn't.

The fourth round is such an interesting round every year to me. I think it such a good round to find talent. Teams start getting hairy in the third round. Reaching for needs over talent. Or pet cats over better players. And so every year the night before day three there is always a ton of talent I love.

But then it's like NFL teams refocus and all that talent I love goes really quickly in the fourth round and by the end of the fourth I'm always like fuuuuuuuuuuck. Like Jalen Royals, dude will probably go in the first 5 picks or so tomorrow. Tuten and Sampson, fourth round. Farmer, fourth round. Ayomanor, fourth round.

And those guys will be better than dudes who went in the fourth. But it's like teams have such tunnel vision in the third, they need a night of rest to just realize the dudes out there still.
