Sounds exactly like Matthew Golden, because God knows they aren't going to find an "explosive" WR2 at this stage of free agency.

I'd still be totally onboard with signing Lockett, Cooper or Allen, but I wouldn't say any of them are explosive at this stage of their careers.
Savy WR in free agency sure. Explosive? No not really at all. But Stephen has no fucking clue. I'd be game for Golden at 12 even though some would think it's too high. Those people in my opinion just don't know the player.

You are way over the top with Golden. He is definitely better than Burden but the lack of true production worries me a little. I am out at 12 but a deep drop into the late teens to twenty I am okay.

He's not my top choice at 12 but he's nearly neck and neck with McMillan according to most of the media scout types, and I think he'll go top 20ish for sure.

12 would be a slight reach depending on the board but not insane. Of course I'd love to add a 2 and get him at 20 or whatever, but I wouldn't be upset about taking him at 12.

His production is a bit off because it was his first year at Texas, Ewers is a bit of a shit bird and they were run-heavy, but he dominated late in the season in the biggest games, so I'm comfortable with it.

How do you get he's way better than Burden. In 2023 Burden was the 2nd best WR in college football? He didn't get worse, His QB play did, and yet Burden still had a decent year. A slight bit of more speed is Golden's only advantage.

This really does not sound like we are after a WR early. "Developmental" staff.
