Right. The point being you saying you wouldn't be voting for one of them.

So either you won't be voting, or you'll vote for ~rando soon to be forgotten~
I’ll be voting third party like I usually do. The last time I voted for either a Democrat or Republican for President was when I voted for Bill Clinton in 1996. I was pulling for Ross Perot in 1992 (although I will always love George HW Bush), but I was turning 16 that December, so I couldn’t vote in that election.

I've voted third party several times before. I have to vote my conscience. I can't worry that other people make bad choices, I have to do and vote for what I think is right.

It's kind of bizarre to me that people think you should only vote for the two major parties, ever.

Like, just because enough other people make bad choices to render my good choice irrelevant, I should just follow them then and also not make what I think is the best choice? That's silly.

I will always vote for who I think is the best candidate, not who I think is best out of who has a chance to win. I wish everyone felt that way.

You hate Trump but you love HW? What?

Or was that sarcasm?

Seems to me it would make more sense to vote for the person who would at least limit the growth as much as possible rather than the one who would purposely grow it even faster.

Unless you're just determined to state over and over that they're all equally crooked and evil in your eyes and there is no difference at all between them. Which doesn't even make sense.
Well I get the idea that two candidates could be different degrees of unacceptably bad.

Like if one is going to ruin the country in a year and the other is going to ruin the country in 2 years, what's the difference? I think with McCain/Romney this was possibly true.

But there is actually a lot of positive about a Trump presidency.

HW was a war hero and an economist. He also wisely opposed Reaganomics, which were terrible for the country and led to two recessions, one of which was very bad. Yes, he raised taxes (which is why I supported Perot), but he refused to make Saddam Hussein a martyr by having him killed and further disrupting the Middle East. He was willing to put the country’s best interests ahead of his own, even though he knew it would end his political career. He was a man if integrity. Trump is not.
