It’s a formula… just enough NFL for filthy rich companies to pay a truckload for but not enough to diminish the main audience.

If it diminishes the audience, they back off.

This is the real “just the tip” experience with Goodell having their way with FAANG.

It’s the #1 bankable reality television and this strategy lets them saturate the airwaves and clean up the most bank for the live product.

Then your copyrighted official highlights (which is all a bunch of Gen Z watches anyways) gets you double dippage with a huge cut of advertising clicks on Youtube, etc.

Well yeah and when you portray things as some big movement everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon. Most of those people don't even know what the comments were. They think they were racist and bigoted but if you ask them what he said, they would have no fucking idea. Sometimes I hate our society and the way no one is capable of seeing words and judging for themselves. Everyone just sees a post or an article and they don't actually read what was said. They just read the headlines and conclusion by someone else and judge based off them. I'm sure it's always been this way but I try to be better than that.
