From CBS.

A fuckin big safety? The one position we don't need.
Yeah, no thank you. We have big safeties. We need front 7 guys on defense. LBers, DTs and DEs. Probably in that order on defense. I'm done with Kearse but Bell is basically a perfect fit for that role. And it moves Bell away from LBer which just means you're already getting better against the run with an upgrade of Bell at that third safety spot and a real LBer.

Offense you could give me O-line or WR in the first and I'd be thrilled. I skip RB only because there isn't a RB worthy of the first.

What do you guys think about Trey Benson? He's plenty big, and still fast.

His whole running style is kind of gross and you can tell he does not like contact.
I disagree with the contact part. I've seen him truck some dudes.

I get the running style question to some extent though. He doesn't look sudden or shifty. He is more of a one cut and downhill guy. But he also has some of the most yards after contact in college football. I think you're cutting the guy short on the power side.

You look like a Ray Davis kind of guy.

Or maybe you're an Estime fan? Guy sort of is built like a bowling ball.

Estime should be one of the main targets in the 3/4 range, along with Corum and some others. Benson would be fine too but I prefer Estime for sure.

Those are the 3 RBs I probably like most. I like Allen too. Looking at Kipers list of top 10 guys Those are the 4 I think fit best:

Running backs
1. Jonathon Brooks, Texas
2. Trey Benson, Florida State
3. Audric Estime, Notre Dame
4. Blake Corum, Michigan
5. MarShawn Lloyd, USC
6. Jawhar Jordan, Louisville
7. Rasheen Ali, Marshall
8. Bucky Irving, Oregon
9. Braelon Allen, Wisconsin
10. Ray Davis, Kentucky

I guess some of it also depends on what we have on the roster at RB going into the draft. If Pollard comes back I'm definitely looking for workhorse style guys. If Pollard goes and we bring in say Derek Henry, then I'm looking more for explosive guys. Just how it is.

I honestly think Pollard is back at a much lower pay. Which is cool but I need a RB that makes Pollard what he was when we had Zeke. The 10-15 touch a game guy instead of the lead RB. But maybe some team with a boat load of cap space will overpay Pollard and we have to actually make an effort to get a guy.

My goal is to find the guy who falls from the top 15 and get him. Don't care what position.

Think CD Lamb or Dez Bryant falling unreasonably. These top 10 talents and we land them at 24.

Mock drafts are interesting but ultimately they have to slot the guys in based on their value, they don't predict unforeseen falls.

That unforeseen fall is what I want. Value.

My early guess for that possibility is Latu, had some back issues I think 2-3 years ago but he's been elite the last two years and I think he's arguably the best pure edge rusher in this class.

My best guess is that will be Laitu Latu given his injury history.

I agree with this. Mock drafts are fun but ultimately I want the guy that when I do a mock draft everyone says "that's not realistic, that guy won't be available."
