Most controversial comment from McCarthy is the 'we weren't flat'. I agree with him to a certain extent. Forced Jordan Love off his spot, made him move but Jordan Love made some amazing deep completions to Doubs that just got demoralizing. Better safeties and those floaters are contested or INTs.

#1 we're disappointed. Nobody saw this coming. Gotta give Green Bay credit. They executed. We didn't. Yeah, we're hurting. We're disappointed. Every man.

Q: What do you think about coming out flat.
A: We weren't flat. Just didn't get the stops.
You absolutely came out flat. Green Bay was flying around we emotion, with a purpose. We were going through the motions in a damn playoff game. That's flat bro.

Broaddus: "This offseason, Jerruh will reach out to people he trusts like Jimmy Johnson..."

That's the first name Broaddus mentions. Jimmy Johnson. ~Broaddus flush~

Love Jimmuh, but what the fuck does Jimmuh know about building a team today.
Jimmy would be a great talent evaluator and draft influencer. I think the coaching is out of the question as his is too old to do it again. But he still knows talent!

I want no part of Dan Quinn as a head coach and running our defense. I'm over him. He's part of these playoff debacles as well. His defense absolutely sucked today. If we can't do better than him we're fucked.
Yeah the only thing I’d give him a benefit of the doubt on is if Jerry and Co didn’t give him what he needed to run his D, is it really his fault? Trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shit. My memory of his Seattle D units were fast, physical LBers, big DL/pressure DEs and stellar S play. None of which he has in Dallas.

We just out talent teams for the most part. When we go against teams with more talent we get our ass kicked. That's coaching.

We have more talent than Green Bay. We just got outcoached on both sides of the ball. Badly. That's on McCarty and Quinn. Bad schemes, bad playcalling, team not prepared at all, etc. That's not Jerry's fault today other than he hired these fucks.
I'm not sure we're much more talented than Green Bay. Don't give me the Pro Bowls, etc, because this team is always overrated there simply because of the attention it gets. Where are we so much better than GB today? Is Dak more talented than the Love of the last several weeks? No. RB, GB is far better. WR, we have the #1 but they're better depth-wise. TE, probably about the same. Etc.

We should be much better on defense but I still think we're very overrated there. We have a few great players but we have big holes, too.

And I'm not sure L.T. wasn't on to something about something going on with the locker room. Makes me wonder if Dan isn't headed to Seattle and the players got wind of it or something, because that was horrific.

Prescott is the reason we went down 14 points in the first quarter. Plus the overthrows to cooks. Time and time again he puts the team in the position they are in. Defense sucked too but championship QBs don’t turn the ball over constantly in the playoffs like this. He is too shaky when the pressure is on.
How is Dak the reason Green Bay went up 7-0? We didn't have the ball yet. Green Bay just drove it down the defenses throat. And the same the next drive. And the next. And the next. And the next. It was embarrassing. And Dak stunk, but McCarthy did him no favors.

I disagree. It's not Jerry's fault (and he has a lot of faults) that this team comes out flat in big games, in playoff games they should win.

Not true. Jerry created an environment where no one fears the head coach because he is not the one running the show and they know this. IRS been mentioned that the organization is a circus and not solely centered on football but being a flashy entertainer. This team needs an old school coach who puts his foot on their throats and makes them walk on eggshells like the dynasty teams. Notice all the dynasties had hard nosed football coaches

Dak Prescott Press Conference

A: Frustrated. Great word for my play. Just shocked, honestly. From the beginning. We got beat. No sugarcoating. I didn't play well. Shocked.

Q: Why were you not in rhythm
A: Felt great. Maybe my mind was moving faster than my body. Just being prepared. Getting from one read to another a split second too fast. The balls gonna jump a bit. Needed to bring the ball down. By the time I did, too late.

A: Wish I had that answer for you, honestly

Q: Speculation about McCarthy
A: He's been amazing. Don't know how that can be, but I understand the business. Then, specualation should be on me as well. Success has been from him. Super Bowl is standard of league and this place as well. I get it. But add him to the list, add me as well.

A: It's a shock as I said to begin with. Didn't think that this would be it. Credit to the Packers. Will take some time to digest it. Stunned.

Q: Down a couple scores in the 2nd, did you press a bit?
A: Umm.....gotta go look at the film, honestly. Seeing their success on offense, it's natural a bit. With the pick six before half, great play to him. I gotta read it better. At that point, that's what made it a little too far. Nobody ever lost confidence on the offense. You can say we were pressing, but only chance we hd was take it play-by-play and our guys kept fighting.

Oh stop. You would've said hardly any of that before the game. They looked more talented today because those players had better fucking coaches, better play calling, better schemes. The Packers struggled to beat teams like the Bucs and Panthers recently. We out talent those teams and pull away from them and blow them out.

Jerruh's first order of business tomorrow is calling his sponsorships to make sure they're good for 2024.

I don't get it. Those deep Doubs completions are, save for a sack, what you want. Off back-foot floaters into the middle of the field.

Those completions weren't schemed. All broken plays.

How, on multiple occasions, we didn't have anyone in the vicinity to at least disrupt the completion is mindblowing.

How did McCarthy make him throw those two picks? That pick six would be embarrassing to a junior high QB. And then a third was dropped.

That might've been the only schemed one.

But, yeah, in the first quarter when the ball was released, I was excited just waiting for a white jersey to streak in and swoop the pass.

Does Jerry get this team prepared for a game? Or does McCarthy and Quinn and the rest of the staff?

Sorry I meant the pick six and the pick on Dallas’ side of the field. Dak caused that. Horrible throws. Then at the end of the game the usual wtf moment when Dak throws past the end zone for a Hail Mary

We've also locked up the worst draft pick out of the Wild Card losers at #24.
