I have a feeling Gallup will become a playoff hero
He is looking better lately. I think he's passed Tolbert again in the last few weeks.

Have to correct Ochoa's tweet, though. Brooks' line should say 0 targets, 1 catch for 24 yards. :art

That was not his best throw of the night.

I'm not even sure I'd call it a good throw given there were three defenders in the area, it could have gotten his receiver clobbered, and there was a wide open receiver underneath for an easy completion.
What in the fuck is Belt talking about? A throw that Turd has to twist and contort to have any chance at AND leaves him open to getting murdered is Dak's best throw of the night? That is the throw where I accused Turd of fucking Dak's women. He is always leaving him open to kill shots on bad throws.

I can't even remember which game it was -- just a week or two ago -- where I watched a Romo game and thought, wow, he's responded to the criticism and upped his game. He was excellent , talking Xs and Os and tendencies and really sounding into the game.

Yesterday I thought he was pretty awful. Seemed like all he did was joke around and make a bunch of "Jim you're so old" or "Look, another dad joke from Jim" comments. I wonder if he's worse on our games because he's at home or feels too comfortable or something. It's a shame because I really like the good Romo as a commentator.
he channeled his inner John Madden yesterday. The comment was something to the effect of they should go for a fake punt here unless they don’t think it will work and then they shouldn’t.

I thought Brooks had a catch besides that one he grabbed off the deflection?

Was this called back or something, Babe?
The scoreboard does show "Flag" at the bottom...

Still a sweet 100 yard return, though. He looks faster now.

Passing concepts, their run game and knowledge of the system are the big reasons why he has been so successful.

He is not talented as a thrower, but he gets the benefit of the system and a lot of defensive uncertainty because it is rare that their running game sputters.
I think Purdy is most benefitted by the defense. Up 14-3, 49ers ran a give up draw on third and long.

Sure the offensive scheme helps, but he’s quick on his progressions and delivers a very catchable ball. He also moves well in and out of the pocket and is quite poised when the pocket crashes in.

He hasn’t been consistently tested down in in the second half score yet, their defense allows Shanahan to not press for big plays, quick scores. But he’s performed well in the playoffs already.

Not as good (or battle tested) as young Tom Brady but along those lines. Definitely lacks the arm strength.

I agree with you pretty much except I don't think brock handles pressure that well. Nor does he have to most of the time. I also agree that their defense makes the biggest difference.

in my opinion, their system only works when they are winning. In fact it works so well, it infuriates me. When we play them again, I just want our offense to be at the top of their game. Make Purdy make the tough throws while facing max pressure because they don't have the luxury of a comfy lead.

because when i watch him in games that they have the lead, he throws into wide open spaces where no one is within 10 yards of a wr. Their running game scheme is so good with mccafrey it's obscene. I just feel like he's able to operate perfectly within it. I don't believe he has the arm strength to make any tough throws outside of an Intermediate throw into a space. I really don't. He rarely throws to a receiver in real time based on a move. . It's scheme, run deception, some trickery and deebo and mccaf are great players.
