I don't know what your definition of cheap is but depending on the time of year there are plenty of hotel/casinos out there that aren't overly expensive if you're splitting rooms.

One thing though, if you go to a club with a pack of like 6 guys and you aren't getting bottle service you will wait in line for 1-2 hours, pay cover, and then have to fight through a huge crowd to pay like $15 a drink. Maybe your boys won't care because they haven't been to Vegas and everything will be new but that's the reality of the situation so keep that in mind.
I hear this often which is why I haven't been. I just don't see the hype if I'm not going with a few grand to spend.

Yea if you're going with like a $500-750 budget for 2-3 days you won't really have any fun unless you're happy gambling the entire time and maybe hitting up a few random bars that you could find in any major city.

So he really wants to go to Vegas. He's a reasonable dude and is going to leave it up to everyone attending but he has expressed interest in it. It's coming down to $$$. Anyone know a cheap option for a Vegas trip? I have to admit I have never been.
One cheap option to Las Vegas Nevada is to pull up a few miles to Las Vegas New Mexico. As an aside (Longmire) Sp? Was filmed there.

Flights and hotels can be found pretty cheap for Vegas. The problem is anything and everything you want to do there is expensive. Except maybe sitting, gambling small amounts of money and drinking free booze on the casino floor. But still the party scene in Vegas is a blast and if you like playing poker I've had an absolute blast sitting in some of the poker rooms in Vegas. I've never even dared go to a strip club in Vegas because I just imagine it being super pricey.

Yeah some of the clubs won't even let you in unless you have girls with you. Or are getting bottle service like you mentioned. So at minimum find a bachelorette party and pair up with them while you're there to go to any of the fun clubs.

Depending on the crowd size in town, limousine service is pretty competitive. It’s cheaper and more comfy than taking taxi service. Vegas is spread out so transportation is vital. Car rentals are high and very limiting as to the number of people you can transport. Not to mention if you are partying you don’t need to be driving.

Uber and Lyft are the two cheapest transportation options now.

Not if you have a large party of people. Say 15 or so. It would take maybe 3 vechicles to transport a group. The stretch limos can handle that many. The Mercedes unit can also. I forget what it’s called but I was transported in one recently with some of my friend’s VIP folk in Oklahoma City.

Good info. May have to look at a hotel + flight option. Will also hope to find some deals on a limo for the main night out. My hope is it have all the invitees' money before we get there. I def don't want to pay for anything I don't have to.

So as it turns out, the groom picked some super lame groomsmen. 2 out of the 6 were responsive to my texts. The others seemed uninterested in doing anything. This eliminated a ton of options. I managed to get some money from all of them to get the groom a badass custom growler and cigar cutter with his initials engraved. What I ended up planning was a night out in Dallas where everyone lives. Going to hit up this really good BBQ place called Pecan Lodge for dinner where we'll give the groom the gifts we bought. The place is walking distance from a decent strip of bars so we'll do that for a couple of hours then afterwards hit up a strip club. I doubt all the groomsmen will stay out all night. So we'll see what happens. It's this Saturday.

Just take all the money you earmarked for Vegas and reinvest it in the community (at the strip club).

I don't get the bumping of old threads. Are these bots, or just idiots?

They aren't bots. They are going through a full on Captcha registration process and then replying to threads in context. I think they are selling webcam websites. I can only go off of the context of the email addresses they are using to register. So, I'm just hammering as they post for the first time if they are bumping massively old threads. Especially ones that this where they would have no reason to bump or even post in being a new member.

So, if you are a new member or potentially new member reading this, just don't even attempt it. Save your time. It's not happening. I live on this board.
