I have seen that gift before for some reason I just thought it might have originated somewhere else.

I always thought it was an SNL thing.

I have seen the movie as well its amazing this still has so much resonance.

I don't recall seeing Willie Wonka but I have seen Blazing Saddles several Times. My good friend Burton Gilliam gave me a, new release version a while back. It had a few extra post movie tid bits on it..

Will do. I always thought it was a kiddie movie and just blew by it.
It's a great kiddie movie in the sense that there's enough adult about it to make it just dangerous enough to be fun.

The tunnel scene was scary as hell as a kid, but I couldn't turn away.

It wasn't so much the tunnel for me, but the Wonka scream at the end of it.

Did a quick check for showings on cable networks, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. Guess what, it's not playing anymore but you can buy the DVD.
