My favorite heavy band is composed of members from some of my other favorite heavy bands: Pantera, Crowbar, COC.

Kent, I never knew we had similar tastes in music. I feel 100 times closer to you now. We should like have a bromance or something.

The username of the person that posted that second song is Budd Dwyer. Freaky.

I have seen them live three times. Once at Ozzfest (which really is not a very good venue to see a band you're really into.) twice on their own. One time my friends and I drove 4.5 hours to Austin and then back on a school night to see them. Their music is tied up with so many memories for me.

Met Kirk (who my friends claimed I resembled when I was heavier) from Down and Crowbar at a Crowbar show. One time we bootlegged an entire COC performance before a bouncer confiscated the tape. Luckily we had just switched the tape and the one with everything on it was in my pocket. :towel

I am getting sentimental now.

Cash had vocals? It sounds like he talks through his songs to me. For a bunch of hip hop haters, he was an OG in terms of rapping instead of singing.
You need to hear the early Cash ala 50s and 60s.

A bit overplayed on the radio, but still one of my favorite Avenged Sevenfold songs:

Speaking of Avenged, they are still good, but I really do miss The Rev. He and Joey Jordison are two of my favorite rock drummers of all time.

Of course you can't speak of drummers without mentioning Mike Portnoy. One of the greatest of all time.

He and Neil Peart are probably the two cleanest and most artistically accurate drummers ever.

You have to give it up for Cash:
